We may have limited financial assistance available for those in true need, including payment plans. If you are applying for scholarship, you may fill out the scholarship application FIRST and wait to register until decision is made. We will not process any payments to those with a pending financial application until awards are determined.
QUESTIONS? If you have any questions about PAYMENTS or need a payment extension, please contact the HRCA billing team before your account is charged. SUBS - HRCA reserves the right to use substitute coaches from our staff as necessary to avoid canceled classes.
Programs with $0 tuition because of grant or other funding, you DO NOT need to enter any payment information (or remove it immediately after registration). Everyone else registering for a paid class MUST provide payment info.
You MUST ensure that your payment method on file is active, not expired, and has sufficient funds for tuition + 1.25% technology fee. If your payment is returned, you WILL incur additional fees:
ACH return/insufficient funds/stolen card -- there is an $10 FEE per occurence (that is the fee HRCA incurs from the bank).
Credit Card Chargebacks -- there is a $30 FEE per occurrence (that is the fee HRCA incurs from the bank).
AUTHORIZED PICKUP - If there is anyone who is NOT authorized to pick up your student from chess class/club, please note that in the COMMENTS section below.
