**PLEASE ENSURE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD IS CORRECT AND NOT EXPIRED** HRCA incurs fees of $8 each time an ACH transaction is declined due to wrong account #s, card being expired, user declines the charge, etc. We can pass this cost onto you per our payment policy.
We review each registration to assist with proper class placement and applicable discounts/scholarships. We will post tuition fees to your account in the parent portal when your enrollment is confirmed. Payments will be automatically be charged upon enrollment confirmation (usually within 3 days of registration), and on the 1st day of subsequent months for recurring monthly tuition plans, unless otherwise noted on your registration or previous arrangements are made with HRCA.
You can make payments early through the parent portal once tuition is posted to your account!
Recurring monthly fees will be posted to your account at least 7 days prior to the autopayment schedule date (1st of month). Automatic payments will only be made on accounts with balances due.
Example: Student registers on Sep 15 for a class that has already started or is starting. Classes with full-session tuition will be charged tuition fee once upon enrollment confirmation. Classes with monthly tuition will be charged first month's tuition and any applicable registration fee. Monthly autopay will begin the first of the following month and continue while enrolled.
As noted in our payment policy, credit/debit info may be required to register for a class. Providing this info gives HRCA permission to charge your account only for specific services at the rate(s) listed at time of registration.
WITHDRAWALS -For our monthly tuition classes, any withdrawals must be made via email to firstname.lastname@example.org by the 15th of the month to avoid automatic charges the following month. Refunds will not be issued for failure to notify HRCA. All other students should notify HRCA as soon as possible of any changes to enrollment.
For registrations beginning 1/23/24: Registration fees and HRCA memberships are NOT refundable once class has begun. HRCA purchases ChessKid Gold accounts and hires coaches based on enrollment data. Tuition may be partially refundable - Please see our payment policy and/or contact us at email@example.com for your specific situation.

SUBS - HRCA reserves the right to use substitute coaches from our staff as necessary to avoid canceled classes.
AUTHORIZED PICKUP - If there is anyone who is NOT authorized to pick up your student from chess class/club, please note that in the COMMENTS section below.
PHOTO RELEASE -added 2/7/24. Please be advised that photos and/or videos may be taken at HRCA events/classes for use in HRCA's marketing, grant reporting, educational, news, or other promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or other forms of media, including on our website and social channels. HRCA will not identify images using the full names of those photographed without express written permission. By attending an HRCA event or program, you consent to have your image recorded for distribution and agree to release, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify HRCA from any and all claims, including compensation, involving using your picture or likeness.
If you wish to opt-out, you can make your wishes known to the photographer, and/or the event organizers, and/or contact HRCA at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also select NO on the photo release section of this registration form for this particular registration.
