I release and hold harmless Almost Famous Inc. and its owners, operators, and staff from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained as a result of the Coronavirus/Covid-19. Almost Famous reserves the right to hold classes virtually if the studio is mandated to be closed.
Release of Liability
I release and hold harmless Almost Famous Inc. and its owners, operators, and staff from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant while in or upon on premises or any premises under the control and supervision of Almost Famous Inc, its owners, operators, and staff or in route to or from any of said premises. Almost Famous reserves the right to use any photo or video of our students in any Almost Famous publication.
Policies
Bad Weather Policy: We typically follow the school district when they cancel or dismiss early due to winter weather. Monticello follows Monticello School District. Dyersville follows Western Dubuque School District.
Dress Code: All female students must wear a leotard with fitted short. Hair must be pulled back and away from face. No dangle earrings or large jewelry. All male students must wear active wear such as a tank top/t-shirt and athletic short. Dancers must wear the appropriate shoe for their class. No gum.
Payment Policy
1. Registration Fee. One-time annual fee due upon enrollment. Non-refundable. $15.00 per student.
2. Tuition is based on 32 classes per year (10 equal installments August 2021-May 2022) All prices are subject to tax. Tuition is due the 1st of every month August-May. A $20.00 late fee will be applied on the 5th of every month if delinquent.
3. Costume Fees. Dance Costume deposit is due upon registration. Deposit is $35.00. Balance of costume will be due October 1st. Costumes are subject to tax.
Dance Costumes will be worn for Winter & Spring Dance Recital and class pictures. Approximate remaining balance $40.00. Shoe and tights are additional.
4. Gym Leotards /Boy Singlet & Shorts will be worn for Winter & Spring Gym Showcase and class pictures. Gym Uniforms can be repeated year to year, and purchased at any time at Almost Famous.
5. Recital/Showcase Fee. Recital Tickets will be available for purchase before Winter & Spring Dance Recitals for spectators. Gym Showcase will charge an admission for spectators.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON MISSED CLASSES. MAKE UP CLASSES, IF NEEDED, WILL BE RESCHEDULED. IF YOUR CHILD HAPPENS TO STOP CLASS FOR WHATEVER REASON, YOUR TUTITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE. YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REMAINING INSTALLMENTS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE ALMOST FAMOUS SEASON AUGUST 2021-MAY 2022. PERFORMANCE POM DOES REQUIRE ADDITIONAL FEES. THESE FEES CAN BE FOUND IN THE PERFORMANCE POM PACKET. COMPETITION TEAM DOES REQUIRE ADDTIONAL FEES SUCH AS BOOTCAMPS, UNIFORMS, COMPETITION FEES, ETC. THESE FEES CAN BE FOUND IN THE COMPETITION TEAM PACKET. COMPETITION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
