HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN
The health & safety of our dancers is top priority. Due to Covid-19 the following health and safety procedures will be put into place to ensure the health and safety of our dancers, families and staff members.
Social Distancing:
(1) Our class sizes will be limited in order to practice social distancing.
(2) Social distancing spaces will be placed on the studio floor to ensure there is enough space for our students to safely dance and move around, however sometimes students may break the 6' distance.
Sanitation:
(1) Dance studio, bathroom and high touch surfaces will be disinfected before and after each class.
(2) The building will be fully sanitized at the end of each night in order to prepare for the next day.
(3) Disinfectant wipes will be available for use.
(4) Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the lobby and studio spaces.
(5) Students will be asked to sanitize before, during (if needed) and after class.
(6) Dance studio doors will remain open to reduce high touch as well as allow for an increase in ventilation.
(7) Fans will be used to circulate air throughout the building.
(8) Bathroom occupancy will be limited to one person at a time unless within the same household.
(9) Health and safety reminders will be placed throughout the studio to remind dancers, families and teachers of the importance.
Masks:
(1) The use of face coverings while dancing will be mandatory for staff members and recommended for dancers.
(2) Temperature checks will administered daily to dancers & staff members.
Drop-off/Pick-up:
(1) Drop-off & pick-up procedures will take place outside of the building. Parent/Guardian(s) will NOT be permitted to wait for their student(s) in the lobby but use of the bathroom is always available. We ask that you wait outside or in your vehicle for your student(s) class to finish. Please meet your child at the front door of the studio for pick-up.
(2) Dancers will be asked to limit their belongings inside the building.
(3) No street shoes allowed in the studio. Dance shoes only!
(4) Please DO NOT wear dance shoes outside.
I understand, respect and agree to the health and safety guidelines put in place for the safety of our students, families and teachers. While the studio has committed to these safety procedures and the studio will be disinfected prior to my class time, I understand that there is still a risk of contracting Covid-19. I hold Happy Feet Dance Studio harmless and understand the risk at hand.
