-Billing and Payment-
Weekly lessons are billed for the same monthly rate at the beginning of each month, regardless of the number of weeks in the month.
Students who begin lessons in the middle of the month will have their first month prorated.
Tuition charges not paid in full by the 15th of a month will be assessed a $5.00 Late Fee.
If an account is more than one month overdue, the student will be removed from the schedule until the outstanding balance is paid.
Students (other than drum students) who are not enrolled in weekly lessons will be charged the "by appointment" rate.
-Attendance and Make-ups-
Makeup lessons can be arranged if the instructor or staff are notified 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time.
In case of sickness or emergency, the extra weeks in the year are intended to be built-in makeup lessons, however the instructor may reschedule at their discretion.
Students who do not attend two consecutive lessons without notifying staff or their instructor will be removed from the schedule.
We offer our teachers a flexible one week paid vacation (in addition to our Christmas break, see below.) The teacher may use this for personal vacation, continuing education, or to cover an illness or other absence. As such, a teacher may opt to cancel one (1) lesson each year without refund to the student or client.
-Change of Instructor-
If a student would like to switch instructors for any reason including, but not limited to, instruments taught, availability, or areas of specialty, please notify staff.
The studio will be closed on the following days each year:
Christmas Eve through New Year's Eve
One month prior notice is required if a student wishes to discontinue lessons.
Failure to provide one month (30 days) notice will result in a $15 late cancellation fee. The client will be responsible for a prorated month of tuition for past classes already scheduled.
Please let us know if you have any questions regarding our scheduling or billing policies.
