- Commercial grade sanitizing fogger machine will be used daily for the health and safety of students and staff.
- Please do not enter the building more than 5 minutes prior to class start time and please pick up dancers immediately at the end of class finish time to help limit the number of people in the building.
- Every class will be assigned a door to enter or exit the studio from.
- Class start times are staggered to reduce the number of students entering/exiting at a time.
- Everyone entering the building over the age of 5 (unless there is an underlying health issue which prevents this) are required to wear a face mask while in common areas of the building.
- Dancers do not have to wear a face mask while in class but may do so if parents request.
- Dancers must arrive at the studio dressed and ready for class. Dancers must bring a water bottle labelled with their name and a small bag to carry their dance shoes and to put their outside clothes in- their bag will remain with the dancers as the change rooms are closed.
- Only one parent of children age 6 and under will be permitted into the studio. No additional family members including siblings will be permitted into the studio.
- Every dancer/parent must review the LDP COVID-19 screening form posted on our website and studio door prior to entering the studio. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 you are not permitted into the studio at that time.
- If a dancer or anyone in the household is unwell the child will not be permitted into class.
- Class sizes have been limited to the size of the room.
- If Lorri's Dance Place is required to suspend in-studio classes due to an Emergency Declaration or other required closure(s), all dance classes will continue via Zoom.
- We will implement any other safety protocols required by the government and/or health unit.
- As we are no longer able to share props and materials in class, our tiny tots and mini movers ballet classes are required to purchase an individual prop bag from the studio.
- Dance shoes/approved dance socks are required for all classes with the exception of acro. Acro dancers will be asked to wear indoor shoes (example: flip flops) into/out of the dance room and sanitize their feet with a paper towel and sanitizer once in class.
- We will update and post our protocols on our website and studio door as things progress/change.
Our sincere appreciation of your cooperation! This could not be accomplished without you. Lorri's Dance Place has and will continue to take every possible measure to keep our dancers, families, staff and community safe and healthy. Children who have a fever or are not feeling well are asked to stay home. Thank you again for doing your part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
