COVID-19
I understand that COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease and agree to abide by Alderwood Dance Spectrum's safety protocols which include the wearing of face masks at all times within the building, closure of dressing rooms and waiting areas, and procedures for drop-off and pick-up of students. Furthermore, I acknowledge that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at Alderwood Dance Spectrum may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself or others, including, but not limited to Alderwood Dance Spectrum employees, volunteers, program participants and their families.
Attendance Policy
Anyone experiencing COVID-like symptoms (fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, chills, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, muscle aches) should refrain from coming to class. I will inform Alderwood Dance Spectrum if a student has had contact with anyone presumed or tested positive for COVID-19.
Missed classes may be made up; check with the instructor or front desk for an appropriate class time. Make-up classes are scheduled through the Family Portal, but availability is dependent on class size restrictions and not guaranteed. There are no refunds for missed classes. Regular attendance is important to the dancer's progress and group choreography. Injured students should come to class and observe, so they do not fall behind. Irregular attendance may result in re-evaluation of class placement.
Please make every effort for students to arrive on time and ready to dance. Late arrivals are disruptive to the class and those who miss proper warm-ups may risk injury. During the COVID -19 pandemic it is especially important to drop off and pick up students on time so as to limit congestion in the building.
