Credit Card Policy
You may pay by cash, check or credit card/debit card. Payment is due by the 1st of each month and is late after the 10th. If we have NOT received payment by the 10th a $10 late payment will be added to your account.
We do not automatically take payment from the credit card on file for normal tuition each month. You must go to the Parent Portal to pay tuition if you are using a card. If payment is not made for a child's tuition by the last day of the month then we will draft the card on file including that month's tuition, a late fee, and the transaction fee.
You must have a card on file.
Please keep in mind you don't have to pay online. You can pay via check or cash at the studio in the drop box. However, a credit card must be on file.
Late Fee Policy
A Late fee of $10 will be posted to your account if payment is not received by the 10th of each month.
If you have not paid the student's tuition by the last day of the month the credit card on file will be drafted for the monthly amount including the late fee of $10.
Class Drop Policy
If a student drops a class in the middle of the season or semester payment is due for the month they drop in and one additional month. For example if a student drops a class on April 10th they owe for April and also for May. You must let us know that you are dropping a class. If you fail to let us know you will continue to be charged.
Payment Policy
Every student must pay a once a season Registration Fee. This is per family/per year. The registration fee is $35 per family per season. It is posted in the Parent Portal. If you have an email or coupon that coupon or email must be brought in by the fist night of classes. We can not discount registration or tuition without that coupon turned in. Tuition is per month. Tuition is due on the 1st of the month and late after the 10th. You must pay tuition by the 10th of the month. Musical Theater Productions have a per semester technical fee of $35. This is due in November for Fall Musicals and April for Spring Musicals. Voice and Piano Students will have a once a year supplies fee of $10 this is due by the first day of classes.
COVID 19 Safety Precautions
Creative Drama Children's Theater is a Phase 2 facility. Creative Drama is implementing the following Safety Precautions in accordance with CDC and government guidelines. This signature ensures that the Primary Caregiver/Guardian has read, fully understands and will comply with all the safety precautions regarding the safe re-opening of Creative Drama Children's Theater during the Covid 19 Pandemic. And the Parent allows the student and or Guardian to enter the premises of Creative Drama Children's Theater under their own risk. It also releases and forever discharge and agree to hold harmless Creative Drama Children's Theater and any of its sub contractors for any liability, claims or demands for personal injuries, sickness including but not limited to COVID-19, or death, as well as for expenses due to loss or damage to personal property or lost wages.
The state of North Carolina mandates that for all staff, adults, and children 11 years and older wear face coverings inside of Creative Drama Children's Theater.
We will be taking temperatures at drop off.
No parents in the building; drop off only. (This is during Phase 2)
We will be closing off the Theater side from the Dance Side.
Doors will be marked for entrance and exit.
We will be cleaning using CDC guidelines.
We will be allowing 15 minutes in between classes for sanitizing.
There will be markers on the floor for performers to stand that will be 6 ft apart.
The studio will be professionally cleaned on a regular basis.
Students will be asked to wash hands upon entry and when leaving.
Class size will be adjusted to allow for mandated capacity control.
If student or staff have fevers they are required to stay home.
Creative Drama is legally classified by the State of NC as a Performing Arts studios offering classes and Day Camps in the Arts. We are classified as a Phase 2 facility.
Media Release
Media Release Form
This form gives Creative Drama Children's Theater the right to photograph/video your child/ren for the purposes of advertisement, sales of media from shows and for promotional purposes.
Liability Waiver
This signature ensures that the Primary Caregiver/Guardian has read, fully understands, and will comply with all the above mentioned policies and procedures of Creative Drama Children's Theater. It also releases and forever discharge and agree to hold harmless Creative Drama Children's Theater and any of its sub contractors for any liability, claims or demands for personal injuries, sickness, or death, as well as for expenses due to loss or damage to personal property or lost wages. Since dance and performance is a physical activity, injuries may occur. Each student/guardian has the right to decline participation in any activity which they are not comfortable with or which they feel may be harmful. Each student/guardian is also responsible for informing instructor(s) of any physical limitation which may prevent full participation in class. It is required that all students be covered by their family's insurance. If injury occurs, it is
understood that the student's own policy is the only source of reimbursement.
