All ballet students, ages 2 through Advanced, should wear black leotards, pink tights, and pink leather or canvas ballet shoes. No satin ballet slippers or other types of dance shoes.
Ballet skirts or solid black hot shorts are optional for all levels but must be fitted.
No jazz pants, t-shirts, tanks, jackets, sweatpants, or loose fitted shorts will be permitted in any ballet classes.
If your child has a ballet class on the same day as any other style then the dancer should wear ballet attire to every class, but must change into the appropriate shoes.
Tap students, ages 3 through Level 4, wear black leotards, suntan tights, and black tap shoes. Intermediate and Advanced Level tap students may wear any style dancewear. Black fitted dance shorts over suntan tights are optional for all levels. We highly recommend the tap shoes with an elastic strap across the top of the foot for students ages 5 or younger. The ties can be removed and this will save a lot of shoe tying time in class. Students who have a ballet class immediately before a tap class should wear their pink ballet tights to tap. Students who have a ballet class immediately after tap should wear their pink ballet tights to tap.
Jazz dancers who have ballet on the same day as jazz should wear ballet attire to jazz class, but must change into the appropriate shoes.
Jazz students may wear any style or color leotard or fitted dance tank top, black jazz pants, and black jazz shoes. Capri length jazz pants and suntan tights with fitted dance shorts are optional. Tan jazz shoes are permitted if they were purchased for the previous year's recital.
Hip Hop students may wear any style dance clothes or loose fitting pants, as well as, clean tennis shoes designated for hip hop class only. Black high top Pastry sneakers or black high top Converse sneakers are preferred for class. No loose fitting shorts and no jazz shoes. No jewelry except for stud earrings will be permitted in any class.
ABSOLUTELY NO STREET CLOTHES OR SHOES WILL BE PERMITTED in any class! Please wear a different pair of shoes when entering and exiting the building than your dance shoes. This will help us maintain the professional quality of our dance floors and keep our dance rooms clean.
I have read and agree to the dress code policies. I will discuss proper attire, dress code expectations to my child, and take full responsibility for my child's dress. I understand that my child may be asked to sit out and observe class if they are not dressed for class in the proper attire and shoes.
No gum, food, candy, or drinks in the classroom, rehearsal venues, or performance venues. No soft drinks, juices, or coffee permitted in the waiting area...bottled water only.

Parents must walk their dancer into the building. Parents of older students who do not need an adult escort inside the building from the parking lot should wait in their front row parking spot to make sure their dancer is safely inside the building before exiting the parking lot.
Students will not be permitted to run/walk across the parking lot to a parent's vehicle at any time. Parent's of younger students should meet them in the front waiting area and walk with them to their vehicle. Parents of older students must either meet them in the waiting area as well, or park in a front row parking spot near the building.
Parents and dancers must enter and exit thru the front side of the building only. There is no drop off and pick up at the backside of the building.
Minor students who wish to leave the building for any reason unattended by their own parent or guardian must present their dance teacher with written permission from their parent or guardian before doing so.

Foul language, lewd behavior, rudeness, and bullying from both parents and students will not be tolerated. Parents and students will be asked to leave and not return if the owner deems their actions inappropriate.
If a class must be cancelled due to extreme weather, illness, or events beyond our control, we will make every effort to make-up the class. However, make-up classes are not guaranteed, and refunds will not be given if class is missed for these extreme reasons.
The studio reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if possible, when the regular teacher is ill or otherwise cannot teach.
Regular attendance is expected for a student to learn and make progress. If too many classes are missed and the student falls behind the class, then the teacher may deem it necessary for a student to get extra help or private lessons outside of regular class time. Any extra help or private lessons deemed necessary will be at the parent's expense.
