Required dance attire and shoes must be worn to all classes. Failure to wear required dance wear to class can result in students being asked to sit out the class.
Attendance & Tardiness:
Regular attendance is vital to student progress and group choreography. Please make every effort to attend each class. Disruptive tardiness may result in your child sitting out a portion of their class. A minimum attendance standard will be required. A student missing more than 4 classes after February can result in not being able to perform at the Annual Spring Recital.
We offer a 10% discount to family members (parents/siblings), pastors, police officers, firefighters, and military families with ID. No family discount on company fees, registration fees, recital fees, and costume fees.
SSD highly values keeping you informed and up to date.
E-News: Every first week of the month SSD sends out a Studio Newsletter to each family's indicated email account. E-mail addresses need to be kept current with the studio, and your account should be checked at least once a week for announcements. Email is our main form of communication! Notes for every event will not be sent home with students. All notes and newsletters will be also posted on our website at www.suzannesdancestudio.com/studio-news.
SSD App: We have our own studio application for your smartphone. This is a very handy tool that will keep you informed at all time.
Care of Students:
The studio is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Please be on time to pick up your child. Students are not to be left at the school for excessive time periods before or after their classes.
Photography & Video:
SSD is granted parental permission to take photographs and videos of the students to use for all promotion and advertisement purposes. Permission is also granted for SSD to copyright such photographs and videos in its name.
Withdrawals and Refunds:
There is a two month minimum for all classes. One-month notice from the first of the month is required to discontinue any classes. Withdrawal must be done in person and will not be accepted over the phone or by email. Withdrawal must be done at the studio office and not with the teacher. Withdrawal must occur within the first 7 days of the month. To withdraw from classes a parent or adult student must:
1. Inform school office in person, and
2. Complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by the school office.
There are NO REFUNDS on paid fees. If these procedures are not met, charges will continue to accrue, in which the signee shall be responsible and liable for fully paying regardless of class attendance.
If you find that you may need to withdraw from a class, please discuss this with our office staff first. It may be that a class change is possible or that there is an alternative solution.
