Required Policies and Agreements
-There must be at least five students enrolled for a class to be held. If a class falls below five students, the class may be shortened, combined with another class, or canceled.
-Please inform K Studio of any personal information changes, such as address, phone number, email, etc.
-Dancers may not leave the studio unless accompanied by a parent
-K Studio is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. The lost & found bin is located in dancer's lounge.

Studio closure due to inclement weather will be announced by 9am for weekday daytime classes, 2pm for afterschool/evening class, and 8am for Saturday classes. If the studio is closed it will be posted on our voicemail, social media, and website

Class fees are automatically deducted via E Payment on the 1st of each month. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed on the 10th of each month for any unpaid tuition fees.
*if discount apply they will be calculated once your registration is received.
E Payment for Costume Fee ($55 each for dances 10 and under, $65 for dancers 11 and older) will be processed on November 30th and Recital Fee ($40/family) on March 30th.

-Family Tuition Discounts are as follows: $4.00 off second and third classes, $6.00 off fourth and fifth class, and $8.00 off sixth class and on
-there is a 5% discount for one payment of 9 month tuition in full. Please email Kelly@kstudiodance.com if interested.

As a parent of an enrolled dancer, I understand that, despite due care and safety precautions, there is risk of injury from participating in the activity of dance. In the event of an injury or illness, I understand that K Studio will first attempt to contact a parent/guardian; however, if K Studio is unable to reach a parent/guardian, K Studio will then attempt to notify the Emergency Contact Person I have nominated.

I hereby give K Studio permission to use my dancer's dance photos and/or videos in the studio, printed material and online website displays. I understand that my dancer's name and contact information will not be published with the photos and/or videos.

-A $30.00 non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration as well as the first month (September).
-The tuition for one season of dance class (mid August thru mid May, including dress rehearsal & recital) is divided into 9 equal payments. Tuition remains the same regardless the number of lessons per month. Each day of the week gets the same quantity of classes throughout the season.
-Tuition is not prorated or refunded for reasons such as illness, vacations, or weather. If a student is absent or if classes are cancelled due to weather or other factors, they are entitled to a make-up lesson in a comparable class. Tuition for students who enroll during mid-month will be prorated.
-No class changes after December 1st. No new students after January 1st. No withdrawals after March 1st.
-There is a $30.00 fee for any returned checks
-Costume Fee of $55 per costume for dancers 10 and younger and $65 per costume for dancers 11 and older is due November 30th. *combo classes purchase two costumes
-Recital Fee of $40 per family is due March 30th.

-Arrive on time, if not early for all classes.
-Dancers are not to enter dance room until teacher in present and welcome them into the room
-Please follow dress code and come to class in proper attire, hair secured back, & no excessive jewelry.
-No foods, drink, gum or cell phones allowed in dance studios.
-K Studio is a drug/alcohol/tobacco free environment.
-Clearly mark your dance shoes and bag to avoid mix up in the studio.
DRESS CODE:
Ballet - leotard and tights and pink ballet shoes
Jazz - leotard with dance pants/shorts/capris and black jazz shoes
Lyrical - leotard with dance pants/shorts/capris and nude foot undeez
Tap - leotard with dance pants/shorts/capris and black tap shoes
Musical Theater - leotard with dance pants/shorts/capris and black jazz shoes (6-10 year olds) or tan character shoes (11-18 year olds)
Hip Hop - dress the part with CLEAN/NEW Black Chuck Taylor Converse tennis shoes
*The first time a dancer attends class not following the above dress code he/she will be given a friendly reminder for the next week. The second time a dancer fails to follow the dress code an email will be sent home to parents.

Students are registered and her/his place is held in class for the entire school year, from the date of registration until the recital. Tuition is due each month unless a formal withdrawal from the class has been made. A formal withdrawal is a parent coming into the studio to fill out a withdrawal form. Calling, telling a teacher, or email are not accepted forms of withdrawal. No withdrawals from classes after March 1st. No refunds will be given if withdrawal from class mid month.
