The CenterPoint Academy policies are designed to promote a positive, safe, organized experience for Academy students and their families. Our goal is for every child to thrive in a positive, nurturing environment that fosters learning, growth, and achievement.
Cooperative, respectful behavior is expected during Academy classes, rehearsals, performances, and activities. Respect for instructors, staff, and other students will be consistently shown through speech and behavior at all times. No discrimination, profanity, bullying, or disrespectful behavior is allowed either in person or by means of technology (texting, Facebook, etc.). A student who violates this policy may be dismissed from CenterPoint Academy.
If parental involvement is necessary to correct any behavior, parents will be notified by Academy Staff and invited to a class session to evaluate and assist their student. If this does not resolve the behavior issue, the student will be asked to withdraw from the class. We love and welcome all students, but must be able to focus our time on teaching for the benefit of each student in the class without devoting extensive time to improving or monitoring the behavior of any individual student. Any student asked to withdraw from class will be charged nothing further in fees and tuition.
There is a non-refundable $50 materials fee for every class, except for summer camps, which is used for administrative, class, and performance costs. The materials fee will be billed to your credit card immediately following registration. There is a 10% materials fee discount for two students from the same family or two classes for the same student ($45 per class or student), 20% discount for three students from the same family or three classes for the same student ($40 per class or student) , and a 30% discount for four or more students from the same family or four of more classes for the same student ($35 per class or student). In some classes, the materials fee can be reduced through volunteer help up to a maximum of 50% of the materials fee, and you will receive an email when volunteer opportunities are available. When you complete a volunteer opportunity, your account will be credited the designated amount for the time you volunteer. If you donate volunteer hours after you have paid the materials fee, the credit for your volunteer hours will be credited to monthly tuition.
The materials fee will bill to your credit card within five business days of registering.
The materials fees are not refundable for any reason.
