Registration Fees
I understand that the $35 registration fee is a annual fee per family and is paid for at the time of registration. This fee is non-refundable. All past due fees must be paid in full to complete your registration.
Fob Policies/Fee
For safety purposes each family will be given a fob to access the building. The fob fee is $15.00. Upon the end of the session or withdrawing for any reason the fob must be returned. If you do not return your fob or if you lose your fob, a $25 fob fee will be charged to your card on file. Students will be unable to participate in the showcases without returning the fob or having paid the fob fee of $25 if not returned.I authorize Woodland Fine Arts Academy to process my credit card on file for my fob fees. If you ALREADY have an ACTIVE FOB please email us at fineartsacademy@gowoodland.com immediately letting us know you already have one (DOES NOT APPLY TO SUMMER CAMP ENROLLMENT)
Withdrawing
The term of our session is a full school year. If you need to un-enroll for any reason, class fees are non-refundable. Due to the nature of our program, if a student needs to withdraw, an early a termination fee of one additional billing cycle is required.
Attendance
Class fees are nonrefundable and are due regardless of attendance. Regular class attendance is vital to your child's growth and crucial to the success of the class as a whole. If your child needs to be absent for any reason, we ask you to let your child's teacher know in advance so that he/she can plan accordingly. If absences become excessive, WFA Staff will determine if the student can continue to participate in the class. If class attendance has suffered, WFA Staff will use discretion to determine if it is the best interest of the child and the class for the student to perform. Dress rehearsal is required. No exceptions. If a student misses a dress rehearsal they will be unable to participate in the performance. This is in the best interest of all involved in the performance.
Should my child or anyone in my family or household test positive for Covid-19, or has been in direct contact with anyone who has tested positive, or are awaiting results of testing for Covid-19, I agree to remain off campus until any testing or recommended quarantine time has concluded. I also agree to notify the WFA Administration office immediately.
I also understand that Woodland Fine Arts Academy may remove a student from a classroom and contact the person(s) responsible for my student should the student express or show an signs of illness such as headaches, high temperature, or any other flu-like symptoms.
Should any student or class, including but not limited to schools and extracurricular activities, be asked to self quarantine due to contact with another person that has tested positive for Covid-19 regardless of the location where the student came into contact with affected person, I agree to refrain from attending WFA classes during that time as a preventative measure for the best interest of all and that all fees will not be refunded due to absences.
Performance Fees
Performance fees vary by department and include, but are not limited to, dress rehearsal expenses, tech costs, and costume fees and help keep most of our show admission affordable and/or free of charge. Musical theater has a $65 performance fee per class that is due upon registration. Dance has a $65 performance fee that includes the dance costume per class that is due in December in lieu of a tuition payment. The instrumental department participates in their recital in place of their final class of the year. Art classes have a supply fee of $60 that is due at the time of registration. I authorize Woodland Fine Arts Academy to process my credit card on file for my performance fees associated with my student's enrollment.
Release of Liability
As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless Woodland Community Church/Woodland Fine Arts Academy, its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, illness including Covid-19, and including serious injury or death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of Woodland Community Church/Woodland Fine Arts Academy, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises.
I understand that Woodland Fine Arts Academy may postpone or cancel classes, events or performances due to high risk of illness or injury, including the spread of Covid-19 at any time. I also understand that any postponements or delays in returning to class will only result in a hold put on my account for any future tuition payments until classes are resumed. Any current fees that have been paid toward tuition within the current billing cycle for the current billing cycle, even if the classes have not yet been conducted, will not be refunded .
Medical Emergency
The undersigned gives permission to Woodland Community Church/Woodland Fine Arts Academy, its owners and operators to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian. I hereby declare any physical/mental problems, restrictions, or condition and/or declare the participant to be in good physical and mental health.
Photo Release
I grant Woodland Fine Arts Academy permission to take photos and video of my child for academy purposes such as marketing, promotions and general academy use. Please note that full names will never be used .
