Registration and Tuition Information
Class tuition is based on our entire dance season (September - June) and is paid in monthly installments through the Automatic Tuition Payment Program. Monthly payments remain the same regardless of the number of weeks in the month. Payment for the first month of classes is due at the time of registration and will be prorated if joining a class mid-month. Tuition plus the $20 annual registration fee will be processed through the credit card on file within 5 business days of registration.
A 5% family discount is offered on monthly class fees to any family that has two or more dancers enrolled at Elite Dance Academy. Family is defined as siblings living in the same household. The discount does not apply to unlimited dancers, Performance Company related fees, Acro tuition, or Events.
A 5% discount is offered for families that pay for the entire dance season (cash or check only) by September 1. Please contact us at Info@EliteDanceIL.com for this discount.
Payment for events such as Intensives, Dance Camps, and Monday Fundays! is due at the time of registration. The event fee will be processed through the credit card on file within 5 business days. For Summer classes, a $50 deposit per family is due at the time of registration and will be charged to the card on file within 5 business days. The Summer Tuition balance will be charged to the card on file on July 1.
All tuition payments are processed through our Automatic Tuition Payment Program. Monthly tuition will be automatically deducted between the 1st and the 3rd of each month from the credit card on file.
I agree to the following:
I will update my account with a new card expiration date or in the event of a card number change.
I will pay a $10 fee for a declined card.
I understand my card will be charged for the following month if I do not give Elite the required notification for dropping a class.
If my card is declined, my card may be reprocessed up to 2 times within 35 days of the card initially being declined.
If my card is declined and updated card information and payment has not been received within 30 days of being declined, my dancer will be dropped from all classes and unable to re-enroll until balance is paid in full.
Attendance is crucial in the training process. If for any reason the dancer cannot make a class, we ask that the parent or student call the office or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org BEFORE your scheduled class. Classes may be made up in any class at the same level or lower within one month. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes. If a student misses three consecutive classes without notifying the office, no credit will be given and classes will be forfeited. No makeups will be allowed in the month of May due to concert and showcase preparation.
If a dancer is injured or ill and cannot return to class for the remainder of the season, he/she must email us at Info@EliteDanceIL.com with a doctor's note. Elite has a no refund policy but will credit your account. Please note that credit given will be prorated from the receipt date of the drop email.
If a student wishes to drop a class, he/she must email us at Info@EliteDanceIL.com by the last business day of the month (business days are Monday through Thursday). A class is not dropped until dancer receives a confirmation email.
Summer Dance Concert (Recital)
Dancers that are Kindergarten age and older have the opportunity to participate in the annual Summer Dance Concert in early June. We have 3 separate concerts on the same day to accommodate all of our families. Concert assignments are listed on the Class Schedule. The concert fee is ½ of the monthly class tuition and is charged with May tuition. Costume fees are around $85 per class and are charged before Winter Break.
Dancers in our DiscoverDance program have the opportunity to participate in our Winter and/or Summer Showcases. These are very special events that include a short dance performed by each class in a simple costume, performances by our Company dancers, creating a craft, cookies and juice, and a visit from a special guest!
Inclement Weather Policy
We will send an email and post on Facebook by 8:30a for morning classes and by 2p for evening classes. We will NOT make phone calls. WE DO NOT ALWAYS CLOSE WHEN AREA SCHOOLS CLOSE. If the weather is questionable and/or area schools are closed please check your email and/or Facebook.
There are no refunds for class tuition, events, costume fees, Elite logo wear, Registration, or Performance Company fees.
You hereby give permission to Elite Dance Academy, Inc. and DiscoverDance LLC to use photographs and/or videos of your dancer as deemed appropriate for the promotion of Elite Dance Academy, Inc. and DiscoverDance LLC.
We, the staff at Elite Dance Academy, Inc. and DiscoverDance LLC recognize our obligation to make sure our students and their parents are aware of the risks and hazards involved in the sport of dance. By registering and participating in any and all classes, programs, performances and events offered by or attended by Elite Dance Academy, Inc. or DiscoverDance LLC, you release Elite Dance Academy, Inc. and DiscoverDance LLC and all its employees from all claims on account of any injury, which may be sustained by your child while attending any dance class or event associated with Elite Dance Academy, Inc., DiscoverDance LLC, or outside performance. You also acknowledge that Elite Dance Academy, Inc. and DiscoverDance LLC is not responsible for your child once he/she exits our studio.
You affirm you now have and will continue to carry proper primary medical, health, hospitalization and accident insurance, which you consider adequate for the protection of both your child, Elite Dance Academy, Inc., and DiscoverDance LLC.
