artspace strives to keep all children safe while they are attending our classes and camps. Everyone who works at artspace is carefully screened through professional interviews and references, and has completed a Criminal Record Check. A staff member trained in standard first aid and CPR is usually available on premises.
artspace believes in working together with children, families, faculty and staff to create a fun, safe and respectful environment for everyone. We encourage everyone to actively participate in class to get the most enjoyment and learning from the experience, and to support and cooperate with each other through positive interactions.
Please let us know at registration@artspaceforchildren.com if you need to provide more details about your child's learning needs or health concerns or if your family has special requests for legal and custodial reasons. This information will be shared in confidence only with your child's instructor.
artspace reserves the right to dismiss, without refund, any child from a program that brings a weapon to the facility, intentionally harms others, vandalizes property, or displays other extreme behavior. In matters of inappropriate behavior, parents will be notified verbally and/or in writing with notification of further action.
All requests for withdrawals, transfers or cancellations must be made in writing to registration@artspaceforchildren.com. artspace will retain 100% of fee if withdrawals, transfers or cancellations are made after the deadlines stated below.
Absences:
Non-attendance from classes, events, or camps due to absence is non-refundable.
Fall, Winter and Spring Courses:
All withdrawal requests for Fall, Winter, and Spring courses received between the time of registration and before the start of the 3rd class will be pro-rated for the remaining classes and subject to an administrative fee of 20% of the course fee, per request.
All transfer requests made between the time of registration and before the start of the 3rd class are subject to an administrative fee of 10% of the course fee, per request.
Day Camps:
All withdrawals or transfers for Pro-D Day, Spring Break and Summer Camps must be made in writing to registration@artspaceforchildren.com. All camp withdrawals or transfers made between the time of registration and 2 weeks before the start date are subject to the following administrative fees: Withdrawals - 20% of the camp fee; Transfers - 10% of the camp fee, per request.
Birthday Parties:
All cancellation or change requests for Parties a must be made in writing to registration@artspaceforchildren.com. Cancellation requests for Parties made between the time of registration and 2 weeks before the party date are subject to an administrative fee of 50% of the party fee, per request. After the deadline, no credits or refunds will be issued. Change requests for Parties are subject to staff and date availability and requires minimum of 2 weeks notice.
Parents' Night Out/Tweens' Night Events:
All cancellation requests for Parties and Parents' Night Out/Tweens' Night events must be made in writing to registration@artspaceforchildren.com. Families that withdraw from Parents' Night Out/Tweens' Night events between the time of registration and 24 hours before the event date will receive 80% of the fee as a credit to their account.
Critical Illness or Injury:
For withdrawals or cancellations due to medical reasons, a pro-rated refund may be issued outside of the above deadlines if a written request is accompanied by a physician's note.
School Workshops:
All requests for withdrawal from School Workshops must be made in writing to registration@artspaceforchildren.com. All workshop withdrawal requests made between the time of registration and 2 weeks before the workshop date are subject to a $100 administrative fee, per request.
Protecting personal privacy is important to artspace. The personal information artspace collects from families consists of data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact them, and is used to deliver services to them only and to keep them informed and up-to-date about the activities of artspace. These activities include advising families of programs, services, confirmations, special events and emergencies. We will not rent, sell or trade personal information to any third party for any purpose.
artspace protects families' personal information using appropriate security safeguards to protect against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. artspace restricts internal and external access to office files and databases, along with any personal information families provide during the registration process. The artspace website, online registration system, and database is exchanged on a server using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, to encrypt or encode the data.
artspace is responsible for all personal information under our control. Withdrawal of consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information can be made by providing 30-day written notice to artspace at registration@artspaceforchildren.com and will mean that artspace will no longer send you any further communications.
