Welcome to 4Cats!
Thank you for registering at 4Cats! Please see below for a couple pointers before visiting the studio:
WHAT TO WEAR
Please be dressed for mess! We are a professional art studio and paint can be lurking around any corner! Paint loves to jump onto the least suspecting. Our professional art supplies may stain or be unable to wash out of your clothing. Don't worry, the materials used are non-toxic but please leave your fancy ball gowns and top hats at home. Dress informally with casual, loose, and comfortable clothing. 4Cats is not responsible for any damages to clothing or personal belongings.
ARTWORK PICKUP
Our policy is to hold art for 2 weeks, please pick up the completed artwork within this time frame. We have lots of eager artists creating many wonderful things and we need to space for new projects. We do our best to hold on as long as possible as we know how precious it is.
DAMAGE TO ARTWORK
Kiln clay explosions are unlikely but they do happen. In the event of a clay piece being damaged due to a kiln explosion, we are happy to provide emotional support and offer your child a chance to come in and remake their art piece.
Refunds are not provided for damaged clay due to kiln explosions.
Covid-19 Standards
We have deep cleaned and renovated the interior to comply with health recommendations of social distancing, sanitization and sharing. We set up station tables for students to work individually, students will get an area assigned to them for each project. Tables are 6 feet apart around the parameter of the room and there are plexiglass dividers between each station.
Students will no longer share supplies. Students will create 6 feet apart with plexiglass dividers between each station. We no longer have large shared tables, everyone has their own space to work at. We have thought carefully about what supplies and materials are needed in the space and reduced unnecessary items to optimize sanitization. Each student has their own selection of tools at their station, no sharing of supplies.
Hourly hand washing will be mandatory and one student at a time will be permitted at the sink area. Floor space has been opened up and floor traffic will be controlled by teachers.
