It is mandatory that ALL students follow the dress code. Should a student arrive without the appropriate attire, the student will not be allowed to participate. This is for the safety of the dancer and co-operation of all students.
Ages 3-5: Pink tank bodysuit, pink dance tights.
Ages 6- Adult: Black tank bodysuit, beige dance tights, black dance shorts optional, no shorts for ballet classes (except adult classes- comfortable clothing permitted), hip hop- comfortable black sweats, blank tanks (tummy must be covered) & indoor running shoes.
All Ballet classes require proper pink leather ballet slippers (must be from dance store- check with instructor on first day of class if unsure)
Jazz, Jazz/Hip Hop & Musical Theater classes = jazz shoes (no laces),
Tap = There are many styles...please speak with instructor before purchasing shoes. (Dancers can participate in the first class without shoes).
Acro = bare feet.
It is mandatory that ALL Students prior to arriving for class, prepare their hair in the following styles:
- Bun and or
- Pony tail
Female & Male change rooms are available on site.
Please note change room rules posted.
Regular attendance is required by ALL students. There will be no make-up classes given (except due to snowstorm cancellations, then we will hold a make-up class).
***If 3 classes in a row are missed, the student is at risk of not being allowed to participate in the year-end recital. Private classes may be advised by a teacher if a student has missed too many regular classes. These classes are not included in the fees and an additional fee is required for private lessons.
Please call or email the studio if you know that your child is going to miss a class.
Any student that arrives more than 15 minutes late for a regular scheduled class, will not be permitted to join due to child safety concerns.
As the legal parent or guardian of the named student, I release CDA, its owners, volunteers and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant (student) and/or the undersigned (parent/guardian), while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and or supervision of CDA, its owners, volunteers and operators on route to or from any of said premises.
