DRESS CODE--The dress code is strictly enforced. Please refer to your TDI Welcome Booklet or our website for exact details. Students are expected to be dressed correctly for every class to ensure proper instruction. Students who are not dressed appropriately for classes will receive a documented warning. After three warnings, students will be removed from that class. Absolutely no outdoor/street shoes are permitted in the studio. No exceptions. Note: All dance footwear must be approved by the instructors of Toronto Dance Industry Inc.
HOLIDAYS--The studio is closed for 2 weeks in December and 1 week in March for Spring Break. Tuition does not cover these three weeks of holidays. The studio also follows statutory holidays and is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Halloween, Family Day, Easter Weekend and Victoria Day Weekend.
COMMUNICATION--Important studio information is distributed and updated on a regular basis through email, the main entrance studio bulletin board, and our website. Please check for these updates regularly to avoid disappointment. The studio is not responsible for missed information please ensure your email address is correct upon registration.
COSTUME FEES-All students perform in the year-end recital and require a costume for each registered class, adults included. The cost of each recreational costume is $96 plus HST. Upon registration, a 50% deposit of your total costume fee will be charged to the credit card indicated. Costume deposits are non-refundable. Costume balances are due and will be charged to the credit card indicated on October 14, 2019. Shoe colour may have to be altered to enhance the costumes. Students who register after November 1 are not able to participate in the current season's recital.
Competitive Program-Competitive ballet costumes are $180 plus HST. All other competitive costumes are $155 plus HST each. A 50% non-refundable costume deposit will be charged to the credit card indicated for all group costumes. Costume balances and additional costume payments are due and will be charged to the credit card indicated on October 14, 2019.
STAGE REHEARSAL AND RECITAL--The stage rehearsal has been set for Tuesday, May 26, 2020 and the recitals for Friday through Sunday, May 29-31, 2020. Students may be required to dance in more than one show; details are available closer to recital date. All students must attend the rehearsal. Recital tickets go on sale in April and are sold on a first come, first served basis. Students who register after November 1 are not able to participate in the current season's recital.
MISCELLANEOUS- The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Locker rental is available for those who are interested. Please leave your valuables at home. For safety reasons, no jewellery may be worn in class.
Spectators are not allowed in class.
Parents are not allowed in the dance studios.
Young children must be supervised at all times while at the studio and in the yard. Please be reminded that the studio is not a place for you to bring your friends. A "members only" policy ensures the safety of everyone and their belongings at the studio.
Parents must pick up their children immediately following their class.
Photos and videos of any kind may not be taken anywhere in the studio without the directors consent.
COMPETITIVE PROGRAM-Students who miss more than three classes beginning November 1, 2019 will be removed from the Competitive Program forfeiting all fees that have been paid.
To complete your registration, please visit the front desk during your next visit to the studio, as a parent/guardian signature is required.
Registration fees do not apply to summer programs. The complete summer program, July 9-August 7, 2019, each Acro Session and Competitive Dance Camp Intensive is paid in one complete payment and applied immediately to the credit card provided on your registration form. There are no refunds for summer classes once payment has been received. There are no refunds for missed classes and missed classes cannot be made up during our summer program. Summer Pre-Dance, Kinder Dance, Kinder Ballet, Tumbling Tots and Kinder Tap Classes: $62/class for the entire summer program, plus HST. Children's, Primary and Jr/Sr Classes: $80/class for the entire summer program, plus HST.

Credit card payments are processed in full on the dates indicated. Partial payments are not permitted.
Those who register online agree to pay tuition via credit card indicated upon registration for the duration of the season, according to the payment schedule. It is your responsibility to ensure that credit cards on file are updated regularly to avoid late fees and other penalty charges.
If you wish to pay tuition by post-dated cheques, please register in person, at the studio.
In the event of withdrawal from classes, the office must be notified in writing, via the studios Membership Withdrawal form, fourteen days prior to the next scheduled payment or no refund can be made for that term. All remaining cheques for the season will be returned and scheduled credit card transactions canceled. No refund will be made for the unused portion of a term payment. Unused cheques will not be mailed; parents are required to pick them up from the studio.
No refunds are given for any tuition fees, registration fees, competition fees, costume fees, choreography fees, merchandise purchases and performance tickets. Tuition is non-transferable.
The studio reserves the right to cancel, add, combine and/or reschedule classes at any time due to enrollment. Refunds, if necessary, will only be issued for those classes that have had a schedule change.
OVERDUE ACCOUNTS AND ADMINISTRATION FEES- A $35 charge is applied to all cheques returned by the bank for whatever reason. A $25 fee is applied to refunds issued by Toronto Dance Industry Inc., all late payments and postponed/held tuition cheques for whatever reason. Payments are considered late if not received by closing on the due date. 2% will be charged on the last day of each month on all delinquent accounts. Past due accounts are referred to Dixon Commercial Investigators Inc.
Students are not permitted in class with an outstanding balance on their account.
MISSED CLASSES-There is no refund for missed classes. Missed classes may be made up in a class of the same level or lower, in any available discipline during the months of September through December only. Classes must be made up the week immediately following the missed class. Make up classes are not available as of January 1.
