POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Dance Families,
Welcome to our TDC family! We are so happy and thankful to have you become apart of our program. Please review our studio policies and procedures listed below. We would like to work with you in order to provide your dancer with the very best dance instruction.
FOOD
Please, do not bring food, drinks or gum in the dance rooms. Only water is permitted and every dancer should have a water bottle with them when they take class.
ARRIVAL TIME
All classes begin on time. Please plan to arrive to class early with a few minutes to spare. Any student arriving later than 15 minutes from the beginning of class time will not be permitted to dance. This is strictly a safety issue as a student could suffer serious injury if they have not properly stretched. It is also disruptive to the instructor and other students to have class interrupted to accommodate a late student.
OBSERVATION OF CLASSES
Every room at the Temecula Pkwy & Winchester studios has a window and seating area where parents may conveniently view the dance class and the instruction of their dancer.
Siblings may wait in the viewing area as long as they are well supervised. For safety reasons, children are not permitted in the dance rooms or stairways at any time.
CHILD CARE
Limited Childcare services are offered during parent participation and adult classes. The parent or guardian must remain on the premises while children are in childcare. The cost is $2 per visit.
RECITAL SHOWS
Every dance season, we hold multiple recital shows during the last few weeks of July. Every dance class for dancer's ages 3 to adult will participate in one recital show. Recital is optional; however 99% of our dancers do participate. This is a wonderful opportunity for dancers to showcase to both family and friends what they have learned throughout their experience in our program. Parents will receive more information regarding show dates and costumes during the first week of February. Costumes are ordered in March, and new enrollment ends during the first week of April. At this time, classes dedicate a portion of their time to rehearsing the routine that they will be performing in one of the recital shows.

CLASS FORMAT
All dance classes will be offered in-person at our 3 studio locations. In the event that classes can not be held at the studio, classes will be offered virtually through an online platform.
MAKE-UP POLICY
Each week students are to attend the class(es) they are enrolled in. In the instance a dancer misses a class due to illness or other circumstances, he/she may do a make-up class.
Make-up classes are available August - March. Not all classes will have make-up options available. Call for availability.
Make-ups must be used within 30 days of absence. Dancer must be a current student to attend any make-up classes.
Make-ups are NOT available April - July as classes are working on specific choreography in preparation for their recital performances.
TDC reserves the right to turn away unscheduled make-ups. Credits or refunds will not be given for classes not made up.
If your are unable to regularly attend your scheduled class, please call or visit the studio to adjust your schedule.
TUITION AND PAYMENT POLICIES
Participation is on a month-to-month basis and Tuition will be collected, in advance on the first of each month through the debit or credit card on file, unless written cancellation or payment has been made by the last day of the prior month. ALL Tuition is NON-Refundable. By signing your child up for classes at TDC you agree to the above payment policy.
REGISTRATION FEE: A $10 registration fee per student is due upon initial registration and will not be due again as long as there is continuous enrollment. This non-refundable fee defrays TDC administrative costs, and covers the cost of registering and maintaining your family in our records.
MULTI CLASS DISCOUNT FOR SAME STUDENT AND ANY STUDENT IN IMMEDIATE FAMILY: There is a $15 per class discount for each additional member of the immediate family or each additional class per student calculated from the price of the initial class. As an example: If first class is billed at $65.00 per month, all additional classes for that student, or any student(s) in the immediate family, would be charged a rate of $50.
Payments for classes are due at the time of registration, and will be prorated for enrollment in mid month. Our tuition is based on a 4-week month. No additional charge is assessed for months that offer five classes. In months where holidays, studio closings, etc. affect the schedule of classes, tuition is not reduced. Tuition is not prorated for absences. Please see the Make-Up Policies below.
Any increase in tuition fees will be preceded by a 60 day notice.
CHARTER SCHOOLS
Charter School Families are required to register a family account with Temecula Dance Company. A Credit Card is required for registration as the family/dancer is ultimately responsible for all fees associated with their enrollment at TDC.
Families are responsible for payment of:
• Registration fees ($10 per dancer)
• Any tuition for absences not made up within the calendar month (see make up policy)
• Any tuition for classes outside of the school year
• Any tuition for classes taken before TDC receives a purchase order from your charter school
• Recital related fees (costumes, tickets, etc.)
Charter Schools will be billed for and only pay tuition for classes attended during the school calendar year. All other fees for enrolled classes, products and services will be billed to the family's credit card on file unless another payment has been provided in advance. Charter schools will not pay for these fees.
While TDC offers up to 4 weeks to make up a class, CHARTER SCHOOL STUDENTS MUST MAKE UP ANY ABSENCES IN THE SAME CALENDAR MONTH to be included in their charter school invoice. Families are responsible for any fees that cannot be invoiced or approved by the charter school.
CANCELLATION POLICY
