REGISTRATION: Twisters Gymnastics, Inc. (TGI) requires one registration form per family. Registration may be done in person at our main office, or submitted by mail, fax, or online at twisterssportscenter.com. Payment for the current billing cycle's class fees and the Annual Membership Fee are due at the time of registration. Please note, the Annual Membership Fee is valid for 12 months from the time of registration and is nonrefundable.
BILLING: We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, as well as cash and checks. Statements for the upcoming billing cycle are emailed on the 20th of each month. Fees are due on the 1st of the month. Payments received after the 10th are subject to a $10 late fee. Payment is required even if you do not receive your bill. Students will not be permitted to participate in class after the 15th of the month if the account is past due. Students may resume participation once all outstanding payments have been made. A $15 fee will be added to all returned checks. Tuition fees are subject to an increase without notice.
You may choose to be enrolled in automatic payment. We offer two options for automatic payment:
1. Fees are drafted from your credit card on the 1st of the month for the current month's billing cycle.
2. Fees are drafted from your credit card on the 15th of the month for the following month's billing cycle and you will receive a $5 discount off the total amount due for each billing cycle . If your account is on automatic payment and the payment does not process, the $5 automatic payment discount will not be applied for that billing cycle. The automatic payment discount does not apply to prorated or promotional fees.
TAKING A BREAK FROM CLASS: If you would like to take a break from a TGI class or program, you must email a notice to firstname.lastname@example.org 30 days prior to discontinuing. If a written notice is not received, your child will remain enrolled and you will be responsible for ongoing tuition fees. You are responsible for any outstanding fees on your account at the time of cancellation.
REQUEST TO CHANGE CLASS: A written request must be emailed to email@example.com for any changes in class level, day, or time. All requests must first be approved by a Sports Director. Once your request has been approved, please confirm the class change with the main office, and tuition fees will be adjusted as needed.
INSTRUCTORS: While you may have a preferred coach or instructor, please note that our coaches and instructors are subject to change without notice.
ILLNESS: For the safety of your child and others, please do not bring your child to class if he/she has experienced fever or vomiting in the past 24 hours, or is not fit for class.
MAKEUP CLASSES: We offer one makeup class per billing cycle for our recreational gymnastics and rock climbing programs.* If you miss your regular gymnastics or rock climbing class, please contact the Sports Director to request a makeup class. All makeup classes must be scheduled with, and approved by, a Sports Director. We do not give credits or refunds for missed classes. Makeups are only offered to students currently enrolled and paying for classes. We cannot provide makeups after your last day of enrollment.
*We do not offer makeup classes for Tae Kwon Do, as our Tae Kwon Do program is an unlimited program and you may attend multiple classes per week. Developmental and Competitive Gymnastics Team students are not eligible for makeup classes. Please contact your coach if your child will be absent from practice.
ATTIRE: Students with long hair must have their hair tied up. Jewelry is not allowed in any class. Please leave jewelry and valuables at home (TGI is not responsible for lost or stolen items). Children who are still potty training are required to wear a pull-up or diaper until fully trained.
• GYMNASTICS: One-piece leotards (without skirts) are recommended for girls, but not required. Shorts, leggings, sweatpants and T-shirts that are tucked in are acceptable for both boys and girls. Skirts, dresses and clothing with buttons and/or zippers are not allowed. Students must remove socks and shoes before entering the training area.
• TAE KWON DO: Students must wear a Twisters Tae Kwon Do uniform that may be purchased at the main office. Students may wear a white T-shirt or tank top under the uniform. Students must have their full uniform AND belt to participate in class. Uniforms must be kept neat and clean. Students must remove socks and shoes before entering the training area.
• DANCE: Each dance style has its own dress code. Students may attend trial classes wearing comfortable clothing such as shorts, sweats, pants, leggings, and T-shirts. Tennis shoes are recommended for trial classes.
WARM-UP: Warm-up is an essential part of any sport to help prevent injuries. Please arrive on time for class so you do not miss the warm-up exercises. Students arriving to class 15+ minutes late may or may not be allowed to participate in class. It is up to the instructor to decide if a student may join a class after the scheduled start time.
SPECTATOR POLICY: Due to insurance restrictions and safety reasons, students may only be in the training area during the scheduled class time and when the instructor is present. Siblings and friends not enrolled in the class are not permitted to be in the training area (even if supervised by a parent). Parents must also remain outside the training area, unless you are attending a parent-participation class.
LATE PICK-UP: A parent or legal guardian must be present at the end of class. TGI staff is not responsible for supervising students before or after class. There is a late pick-up fee of $1/minute if you are more than 10 minutes late to pick up your child.
POSSIBLE USE OF GENERAL VIDEO/PHOTOS FOR TGI ADVERTISEMENT: TGI may film or take photographs during TGI classes, events or other activities. The videos and photographs may be used for TGI promotional material. If your child appears in a TGI publication and you would like to have it removed, please contact the main office and we will remove the video or photograph of your child.
COMPETITIVE TEAM FAMILIES: There are additional policies regarding billing and general procedures in the Competitive Team Manual for pre-competitive and competitive team groups. Please contact the Competitive Team Director immediately for a copy of the manual.
