Thank-you for enrolling your child in the Drama Kids Program! We will work very hard to make sure your expectations of us are exceeded. Our goal is to provide each student with a dynamic and fun learning environment whereby students are motivated to participate fully and achieve their personal best, at all levels of development. Please note the following:
A. Make-ups and Refunds. Once a student has attended class and paid tuition, enrollment will be considered complete. Registration Fees and Tuition are non-refundable. We cannot issue credits or refunds for missed classes.
B. Proper Dress. Proper clothing and shoes are required. Clothing should be comfortable, pants are best: shoes should be closed toe and back for the students safety.
C. Poor Weather Policy. In the event of inclement weather, we will follow the local public school district in which classes are being held. If we cannot hold class, we will notify all parents by text message and by email using the information you provided to us. You may also call 281-829-2287 if the weather is in doubt. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for inclement weather and cannot offer refunds. If possible, with the agreement of the location where we are holding class, we will try to hold make-up class(es).
D. Promptness. Parents are expected to pick up their children promptly when classes are over. Children are required to wait for their parents inside the classroom. No child will be allowed to wait for parents outside of the building.
E. Parent Attendance. Parents and siblings of students are not allowed to be in the classroom during class time as this causes students to lose focus and can disrupt class in general. Parents are free to leave the premises during class. But remember, there will be special class days when the student will perform for you, and you may also join in. You are definitely encouraged to join in then!
F. Props and Dress-Up Days. On occasion, we may ask the children to bring in a common household prop or to dress up as a character if they wish. This is never required and items should not be purchased by parents for such occasions.

In consideration of accepting the above named participant(s) in our program, you as the parent or legal guardian hereby agrees to release and hold harmless Drama Kids International, Inc. and its franchise owners and employees from any and all liability, claims, judgments, demands and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of, as a result of or related to any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned during their participation in our program, while in or upon the premises, or en-route to or from said premises under the control and supervision of DKI., Inc, its franchise owners and employees during the course of instruction or supervision given the participant by DKI. Furthermore, DKI is not responsible for the supervision of participant(s), either before or after the participant's regularly scheduled class time.
DKI reserves the right to photograph and videotape programs and participants for training, advertising, promotional activities, and any other lawful purposes.
Payments may be made with MasterCard, Visa or Discover Card, cash and checks are also accepted but a bank Debit card is the preferred method. When you register and enter your credit/debit card information, your card will NOT be immediately processed - entering the information simply stores it in our secure site. Once you select which payment option you prefer, we will process your credit card. (Please note there is an additional $20 registration fee.) Once payment is processed by us, enrollment is complete, that class spot is reserved for your student and the registration fee and tuition is non-refundable. Tuition is due as required by the payment option you select: payments made under our monthly and quarterly plans are paid by automatic credit card payment only on the dates stipulated. We will use the credit card information provided on this form unless instructed by you otherwise. There will be a $15.00 fee applied to late payments made after the 5th of the month, and there is a $20.00 returned check charge for any checks returned by the bank.
Drop/Refund Policy: remember, our developmental drama program is a SCHOOL Year Program, with a very few exceptions. We will not issue credits or refunds due to missed classes. We will work with you to allow your child to attend a makeup class. If you must drop a class, 30 day paid notice is required, sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, and you will receive an email confirmation of your request. A $5.00 refund processing fee will be assessed. If no 30 day notice is provided, the account will continue due and payable. We at Drama Kids realize that life can change with little notice; we will do our best to work with everyone if the need arises. Once rehearsals start for the Spring performances and presentations, we strongly encourage that no student withdraw after that time, the end of February. The students have been working hard toward this opportunity to show off all that they have learned; withdrawing at this late stage is unfair to the withdrawing student and to the other students in the class.
