I fully understand that participation in any activity that involves motion including gymnastics, dance, tumbling, trampoline, swimming, summer day camp activities, cheerleading, sports acrobatics, parent shared gymnastics and other related activities, even under the best of conditions carries, with it a reasonable assumption of risk. I recognize and understand that potentially severe injuries including permanent paralysis or death can occur. Tuition is based on session length which is typically four weeks. However, sessions may occasionally vary in length and will be adjusted accordingly. Please refer to our session calender for session dates and holiday closures.
Full payment is required at the time of registration for your student's first session. This reserves a space in the class. Tuition for the next session is due the first day of the session. A tuition reminder will be emailed the final week of each session and payment is required on or before your student's first class of the session. Please become familiar with our session calendar.
Student's enrollment is automatically continued from one session to the next.
We know there are other activities your student is interested in, so if at any time you wish to discontinue class, please communicate with the front desk personnel prior to the last class in the session. You can call us or stop by the office to let us know you intend to drop. You may also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief explanation of why you are discontinuing. You are responsible for tuition for the next session unless a notification is received prior to the end of the current session. We hope to see you again soon!
Unlike many other sport or dance programs, we do NOT charge a registration fee for gymnastic or dance classes. However, there are registration fees for our day-camp and preschool programs to help cover the cost of extra materials.
10% Multi-class or Multi-student Discount:
When a student is taking more than one class per week, or when families register more than one student in a session, a 10% discount is applied to each additional class. Discount is always taken after the higher priced class is paid in full. Discount applies to a full session only. If a student begins in the middle of the session, the 10% discount will be applied to their first FULL session.
Make-up and Absence Procedures:
Your tuition pays for your child's space in class, regardless of attendance. As a courtesy, we offer 1 make-up per four-week session. Make-ups are a privilege. You can make-up a class anytime during the session in which an absence has occurred. Students must be currently enrolled to attend a make-up class and make-ups cannot be carried over from one session to the next. Mountain Kids reserves the right to refuse to offer a make-up if we feel it will affect safety or lessen the experience of those children who have registered and paid for that class. Credits are not issued for missed classes during the school year. During the summer we can prorate 2 weeks per session. Please call ahead to schedule a make-up to ensure there is space available in the class.
Registration is on-going and students may register for a class at anytime. Tuition is prorated based on a student's initial start date.
100% Tuition-Back Guarantee:
For families brand new to Mountain Kids our guarantee assures that if you are not completely satisfied with your class after the first session we will refund all class fees. This refund must be requested in writing with an explanation of how we did not meet your expectations.
No refunds are given for dropping a class once the session has begun. In the event of a medical issue or serious injury, a doctor's note must accompany all such requests for account credit.
Assuming there is space, students may change class at anytime.
Mountain Kids does NOT always close when school districts close. So in the event of a heavy snowstorm, please check our website at www.mountain-kids.com. Cancellation information will be posted by 7:30 a.m. If at all possible, we will always hold class.
