Join us for The Charm with Purpose Retreat, our fourth annual girls retreat from September 27th to September 29th at River Rally Ranch in Manchester, Maryland. This transformative weekend adventure presents your daughter with the opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate her uniqueness and purpose. Students will get the chance to experience team building, self-awareness, confidence building, and inspiring workshops focused on reconnecting with oneself. In addition, each student will leave renewed with new inspiration, profound gratitude, and the motivation to embrace one's true self. Registration fee of $50 applies, along with a $250 retreat fee. $50 registration fee will be due upon completion of registration form. All fees are nonrefundable.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF RISK

I understand and acknowledge that Charm with a Purpose Girls Retreat activities, including, but not
limited to, rope courses, nature hike, giant swing and other activities my daughter will voluntarily
engage in, bears certain risks, which could result in injury, death, or damage. These activities will be
similar to a very active day of recreational activities. These activities are designed to be safe, and River
Valley Ranch staff will explain each activity and safety systems will be used, when appropriate. Some
activities will take place at heights up to 40 feet. My daughter’s participation is voluntary, and she will not
be required to participate against her wishes. I understand, acknowledge, and hereby accept and assume
all responsibility and risk arising from her voluntary participation in these activities, its agents, employees,
and contractors.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby release The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc., and its staff from all liability for injury, illness,
damage to property, or any other condition that may occur during participation in any activities or
programs of The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. and Charm with a Purpose Girls Retreat or as a
direct or indirect result of participation in any activities or programs of The Charm School Project for Girls.
Inc. and waive my right to pursue legal action against The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc., and its
staff in connection with any such, injury, illness, damage to property, or condition.
The Charm with a Purpose Girls Retreat cannot assume any responsibility for any lost, damaged, or
stolen property of the camper. Campers should not bring expensive clothing, jewelry, electronic
games/devices, or other non-essential items to the camp.

CHARM SCHOOL SICK POLICY

We will be exercising many health and sanitation precautions and measures on our part, but
maintaining a safe and clean environment will require your attention as well. If your child is experiencing
chills, runny nose, coughs, excessive sneezing, and/or a fever, we are asking parents to keep their child
home and to go see a doctor. Staff members will have the discretion to determine if a child needs to be
sent home or not. If a child displays any symptoms mentioned above, we will be sure to call and ask the
parent to come and pick up their child immediately. Again, we ask that you do NOT send your child to the
retreat if she is displaying any of the symptoms mentioned above. Please think of your child and the other
children that are involved. Our goal is to make sure everyone is in a healthy and safe environment.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

As the legal parent or guardian of the participant, I give permission to The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc., its owners, and operators to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian. I hereby declare any physical/mental problems, restrictions, or condition and/or declare the participant to be in good physical and mental health. I request that a doctor/physician be called and that my child be transported to an appropriate hospital. We do not provide medical coverage for accidents and illnesses. Parents must provide their own medical insurance for campers.

RELEASE AND CONSENT FORM - MEDIA

For the use of recorded materials, image, sound, videotape, film, photograph, CD and/or audiotape, I hereby authorize The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc., and its affiliates, employees, and assign to use the subject's name, voice, likeness and/or picture (still or motion) for use in advertising, promotion, reproduction, or broadcast of said project. Furthermore, I hereby release The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc., and its affiliates, employees and assigns from all liabilities in connection with the use of the aforementioned project materials.

I also give The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. permission to use my child's picture/video in social media advertisement (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook) strictly for The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc., or dance/program affiliated events.

I, as the Subject, or Mother, Father, or Guardian do consent to the release of the material described above.

RESPONSIBILITY OF ACCOUNT AND FEES

As the legal parent or guardian of the participant, I am agreeing to be held responsible for my account and ALL financials on my account for The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. and Charm with a Purpose Girls Retreat. Camper’s fees cover all activities including meals, lodging, activities, supervision, and camp supplies. Optional expenses include additional “Charm with a Purpose” merchandise. All fees are nonrefundable.

VISITS AND PHONE CALLS

We understand that a camper’s time away from home can be more stressful on the parent than the child, however we will not permit parents to call or visit the campus during the time of retreat unless there is an emergency. Cell phones will only be available during designated free times, otherwise phones will be locked for your daughter’s security of personal items. In case of emergency, all Charm School staff will have their cell phones fully accessible, however, due to the location of the retreat, service is limited. You will have access to all staff numbers, however, please reach out to Jasmine or Chabria first if there is an emergency.

Your calls are not worrisome to us (provided they do not interfere with the activities and rights of other campers); they represent an opportunity for us to address you and your family if needed, however, we ask that they are limited and, on an emergency, needed basis. Please acknowledge that we recognize the parents’ rights and responsibilities of their child, we just want to provide the best transition and experience for your daughter during her stay.

CAMPER BEHAVIOR POLICY

All campers are expected to behave and respond to those in authority in a manner that is consistent with the goals and ideals of The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. We do not tolerate negative attitudes and disruptive behavior, especially when such behavior takes away from the positive experience of other campers. We accept mostly all children into our retreat, but children unaccustomed to discipline and limits may not find our retreat to their liking. Profanity, bullying and questionable remarks and gestures are simply not tolerated.

In the event a camper’s pattern of bad or negative behavior becomes a detriment to other campers, after sufficient warnings have been given, dismissal from the retreat may be discussed with the parent/guardian. (No refund will be made). The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. has the right to refuse continuous participation to those campers whom we deem a risk to the safety, spirit, or smooth operation of Charm with a Purpose Girls Retreat.

LATE PICK-UP POLICY

To ensure that our dedicated staff are respected, please make sure your camper is picked up promptly at 1:15PM. If the lateness extends beyond 1:30PM, there will be a charge of $25. We will offer a one-time grace period, however, will need to be notified in advance to apply the exemption.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

Cancellations must be received by email to The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. at thecharmschoolproject@gmail.com. The $50 registration is non-refundable. There is no refund of retreat balance for any reason other than major illness or injury. In that case, the parents and the camp will split the total cost of the tuition refund (50% refund). There is no refund for homesickness. If retreat balance is not received by September 25, 2024, the camper’s account will be charged a $30 late fee. If no communication is received by parents during the time of documentation submission, the camper’s name may be removed from the registration and no deposit refund will be made.

WAIVER/RELEASE FOR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES INCLUDING COVID-19

In consideration of being allowed to participate on behalf of The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. programs and related events and activities at River Rally Ranch, the undersigned acknowledges, and agrees that:
1) I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.

2) I further acknowledge that The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I further acknowledge that The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. cannot guarantee that my daughter will not become infected with the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, staff, and other students and their families.

3) I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards to protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my daughter presence or participation, I will remove her from participating and bring such to the attention. I voluntarily seek services provided by The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. and acknowledge that I am increasing my daughter risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that my daughter must comply with all set guidelines to reduce the spread while attending the program. I attest that I will inform the Co-Founders of the organization (Jasmine and Chabria) BEFORE retreat attendance if:

- My daughter, myself or anyone in my household is experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.

- My daughter, myself or anyone in my household have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days. My daughter, myself or anyone have not traveled to a highly impacted area within the United States of America in the last 14 days.I hereby release and agree to hold The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. harmless from, and waive on behalf of my daughter(s), myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to my daughter(s) and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act with the organization, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any interaction received from The Charm School
Project for Girls, Inc.

This is to certify that I, as parent/guardian, with legal responsibility for this participant, have read and explained the provisions in this waiver/release to my child including the risks of presence and participation and her personal responsibilities for adhering to the rules and regulations for protection against communicable diseases. Furthermore, my child understands and accepts these risks and responsibilities. I for myself, my household, and child do consent and agree to her release provided above for all the Releasees and myself, my household, and child do release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees for all liability's incident to my minor child's presence or participation in these activities as provided above, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THEIR NEGLIGENCE to the fullest extent provided by law.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF ALL AGREEMENTS
