Historically, a cabochon (Ka-bow-shawn) — also referred to as a cab — is a gemstone that has been shaped and polished instead of faceted. These stones typically have a flat side and one domed side. Nowadays, cabochons are made of more than just gemstones. Learn how to use fluid acrylics, stamps, and other materials to create mini masterpieces that fit into cabochon pendants. Got any old, ugly paintings on paper that didn’t work out? Bring them with you and upcycle them! Each participant will make 2-3 pendants each. This workshop is suitable for all levels, no art experience necessary and all supplies are included.
