Loosen Up and Learn How to Sketch with Expression: An Introduction to Continuous Line Drawing Continuous line drawing is an expressive way of drawing that will help you develop your “artist's eye” and help you learn how to draw what you see, not what you think you see. We will study the drawings of Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti and the American artist Charles Reid to gain insight on how to loosen up and learn how to create beautiful, interesting art, not just static replications of objects or the human form. We will explore different drawing mediums such as pencil, pen and ink, marker, etc. and complete several sketches. This workshop is suitable for all levels, no experience necessary. All supplies included.
