This Lei Workshop is an introduction to two traditional methods of lei-making: kui and wili.
Members of our beginner classes, parents, family, friends and the general public may enroll.
Please be sure to bring the following supplies:
Sharp pair of scissors
Water Spritzer
Cooler bag or container
Non-flavored Dental Floss -- just in case
Supplies included in your enrollment costs are: one 12 inch lei needle, flowers, leather leaf ferns, green yarn, lei cordage, and raffia.
Once you have completed the workshop, you will be able to make your own sewn flower lei, and a lei crown or head lei.
The Workshop will be held on Sunday June 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Aloha Studio in City Center Bishop Ranch, San Ramon
Because of the time line for ordering and receiving supplies, registration will close on Friday May 26, 2023.
