Backstage Dance Studio 2021 Summer Camps CHOREOGRAPHERS CAMP Tuesday - Friday from 10am to 2pm Please have your dancer bring a packed lunch and a water bottle Cost: $250.00 AGES 9 to 13 Tuesday, July 6th - Friday, July 9th CONROE AGES 9 to 13 Tuesday, July 13th - Friday, July 16th MONTGOMERY Why do we dance the way that we do? Learn the history of some of your favorite dance forms and the people who created them. Ballet, jazz and modern all started with a simple idea to move & entertain and were created by choreographers wanting to be unique. This summer, we will explore three of the best: Jerome Robbins - Choreographer of West Side Story Martha Graham - Founder of Modern Dance Marius Petipa - Choreographer of Sleeping Beauty Ballet Dancers will focus on technique, dance history, performance and more as they explore three featured choreographers, ending with a showcase on Friday!
