Cue the paparazzi and get ready to shine like a star in Marquee Mix-Up: Movie Magic! Dancers will explore the magic of our fave movie musicals: The Greatest Showman, Newsies, Grease, Mary Poppins, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, while learning musical theater, jazz, and hip hop! Your dancing movie stars will create their own sets and props to prepare for their big premiere where they will walk the red carpet and showcase a fabulous performance from each of these movie musicals! Dancers will also shine on the big screen when they star in their very own mini-movie featuring their magical dance moves. Ages 6-9

Release of Liability and Medical Emergency

As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless Dothan and Enterprise School of Dance, its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises, any premises under the control and supervision of Dothan and Enterprise School of Dance, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises.
The undersigned gives permission to Dothan and Enterprise School of Dance, its owners and operators to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian.

Payment

Photography and Videography Release

I hereby grant to Dothan and Enterprise School of Dance the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use, reproduce, and publish photographs or videos of my child for editorial, trade, advertising, or any other purpose or manner and medium. I hereby release Dothan and Enterprise School of Dance and its owners and teachers from any and all claims, actions, and liability relating to use of said photographs or videos.

Placement

The first day of camp a placement class will be held for all students participating in the DANCE EXPO ONLY so that they may be divided into levels according to their individual abilities and strengths. Each dancer will be placed into a class with others of similar abilities and training. Our outstanding faculty will determine the placement of students to ensure that all levels can work at their maximum capacity during the camp. Please do not question the placement results. If a student demonstrates during the first part of the week that they need to be in a different level, they will be moved at that time by the faculty. The levels will be announced at the end of the audition so that each student will know what their schedule will be for the rest of the week.

Policies and Dress Code

All female dancers must wear a solid color leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet or pointe shoes for Ballet class. Male dancers may wear tights or jazz pants, a t-shirt and black or pink ballet shoes for Ballet class. Jazz pants or dance shorts and jazz shoes can be word for jazz class. Tap shoes are needed for tap class and dancers should have bare feet for contemporary and modern class. No baggy shorts or baggy shirts allowed. All students should bring a snack for their daily snack time or they may purchase one from the snack machine located in the break room. Lunch will be available to order each day if their schedule allows. A drink machine and water fountain are available in the common area. Students are NOT allowed into class late unexcused. Students must be picked up promptly after class is dismissed. A $10.00 fee will be charged if parents are more than 15 minutes late to pick up their dancer.
