Any new student seeking placement into the school or returning student for re-evaluation. Placement results are valid for 8 months. Results are sent 3-5 business days following the class via email.
Orlando Ballet School places students aged three to six by age while students aged seven and up are auditioned and placed by knowledge, ability, and potential. All students receive bi-annual progress reports and are advanced only when the teaching team believes more advanced work will be beneficial to the student. Any student new to Orlando Ballet School age 7 or older is required to take a placement class to receive their level recommendation for registration.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your placement class to check in with the front desk. Street parking is available on nearby streets. One parent or guardian may wait in the lobby during the placement class. No class observation is available.
