Two wonderful ways to work in watercolor are with the charging and glazing techniques. Charging is the addition of color to wet paint. It is also often referred to as '"wet-into-wet'" and one of its charms is that at some point, it forces you to relinquish control of the process and let it ""paint itself."" Glazing is where you add each successive color when the previous layer is dry. Glazing can deepen, intensify, and make a color ""glow."" This is a perfect workshop for the beginner watercolorist! All supplies are included. Ages 15+
