Ballet North Texas is seeking young dancers, ages 10–14, for our Kids’ Midsummer Auditions for A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This opportunity is designed for dancers with previous dance experience, strong musicality, focus, stage presence, and a love of performing. Selected dancers will rehearse and perform alongside Dallas’ premier professional ballet company, gaining valuable experience in a professional production setting while helping bring Shakespeare’s magical world of fairies, mischief, and movement to life on stage. Rehearsals are June 2–4 and June 9–11 from 10:00–11:30 AM, with an additional rehearsal on June 13 from 11:30 AM–2:30 PM. Theater week will include afternoon/evening rehearsals Tuesday–Thursday. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 PM. Dancers must be available for all rehearsals and performances. Cost: $90.
