The NAUI Instructor Training Course (ITC) is an intensive program designed to equip dive leaders with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to become confident, capable NAUI Scuba Instructors. This course focuses on developing a deep understanding of NAUI standards, teaching techniques, and safe dive practices while emphasizing student-centered learning. Candidates will engage in classroom instruction, confined water training, and open water evaluations, all aimed at honing their ability to teach and certify new divers effectively. Successful completion of the ITC enables candidates to join the ranks of NAUI professionals, promoting safety, education, and environmental stewardship in the diving community.
