Join Windsong Musik for a special Christmas Pop-up class for dancers, singers, and instrumentalists who want to improve their rhythm and movement through singing, drumming and dancing! Learn to hear, feel and understand the different kinds of beats and tonalities as you sing, drum and dance to Christmas favorites!
This class is for ages 6-9 (as of the date of the class). Instruments and props are provided. Christmas attire is welcome and photo ops available! Feel free to register for one or both dates: Thursday, December 14 or Saturday, December 16.
Current Families: Reminder! If you are enrolled in our Fall 2023 Session, Christmas Pop-up classes are not included and you must register separately.

Release of Liability - As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless TAFY Dance Alaska LLC, Windsong Musik LLC, its owners, staff, and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, or illness including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of TAFY Dance Alaska LLC, Windsong Musik LLC, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises.

General Policies

Keep germs to yourself - The studio is a symptom free space, so we ask you to stay home if you are not feeling well.
Parking - You can park in front of or behind the building. Please be courteous in your parking to allow as many cars as possible into the lot and do not block others in.
Entering our space - When you enter the lobby, please remove your shoes & jacket and place them in the black cubbies inside the classroom, along with other personal items (backpacks, purses, phones, etc.) No outside shoes are allowed on the classroom floors.
Required Items by class - There are no materials requirements for Christmas Pop-Up classes
Details for Christmas Pop Ups -
You are registering for one individual class.
Each class needs a minimum of 5 enrollments to begin. If the minimum has not been met by the day of the class, we will communicate this and give you an opportunity to join a different class.
All students ages 6 months to 9 years old should be registered. Babies under 6 months may attend free with a paying sibling. Second or more siblings enrolled in the same class will receive a 15% discount on tuition.
Two adults may attend with each family.
Please silence your phones for music class and plan to be fully present with your child. However, you may use your phones to take photos and videos of your child. Please request permission if you will be taking photos of other children outside your family.
Food is only allowed in the lobby, not the classrooms. We have a variety of snacks for sale. We do not allow common allergens like peanuts into our space.

Christmas Pop Up Payment Policies

Our classes are hosted by TAFY Dance Alaska. You can make payments by cash, check, bank draft, credit card, or Venmo. To pay in person, stop by the lobby before December 8 between 5:00-9:00 pm Monday-Thursday with cash, check, or credit card. To pay remotely with cash or check, mail payment to TAFY Dance Alaska at 9035 Lupine Lane, Juneau, AK 99801. To pay remotely using a bank draft or credit card (a one-time payment or auto pay), call our Administrator, Mika Morford at (907)723-8568 or login to the parent portal on our app or website to add your billing information. Please note that entering your credit card information does not automatically process a payment unless you authorize it to. To pay using Venmo, send payment to @TAFYDance-Alaska. Please add the student's name in the "What's it for?" field before sending. If your family has account credit, it needs to be used within one year of the initial date.

General Payment Policies -
We require a credit card on file for all accounts
Tuition fees, including applicable discounts as well as 5% city sales tax, will be added to your account by a staff member upon completion of enrollment and a statement will be sent to the primary email account you have on file.
You can choose to pay your balance yourself at the time you register or when you receive your emailed statement.
If you do not pay in full by the day of the class, your credit card will be automatically charged that day or soon after.
If you prefer to pay with another method (cash, check, bank draft, Venmo), payment must be received before class.
If you make a payment that is less than the amount due, your credit card will be charged the balance due on the due date.
A $10 late fee will be applied to any accounts that have an expired credit card.
There is a $25 fee for any returned checks.
Your electronic signature during registration is authorization for the credit card on file to be run in accordance with the policies listed above.
Tuition is non-refundable.
Christmas Pop Up Discounts & other cost information -
Sibling Discount - Additional students per family: 15% off
Infant Discount - Babies 6 months and under attend for free with a paying sibling enrolled in the same class.
Family Musikgarten classes are $18 per child with 15% discount for a registered sibling. Babies under 6 months attend for free.
Movers & Shakers classes are $20 per child with 15% discount for a registered sibling.
Cousins and friends must register separately!
We require a minimum of 5 families per class. In the event we do not meet our minimum, you will be given the option of joining another class or a full refund.

Photo Release

I understand that the lobby and classrooms are monitored by cameras that record audio & video. These recordings are not accessible to the public.

I give permission to Windsong Musik LLC & TAFY Dance Alaska LLC to take pictures and videos of my child and give my permission for the public display of pictures and/or video of my child for possible advertisement purposes (i.e. brochures, newspaper ads, web site, social media, etc. - only first names will be used). If I am uncomfortable with my child’s image being used, I will send written notice to Miss Mika at mika@tafy.org.

Suggested clothing for ALL CLASSES

Adults – Bare feet or socks (please be aware that socks can be slippery)
Comfortable clothing for sitting on the floor, bouncing your child on your lap, walking, skipping and hopping.
