By auditioning for and accepting a position on the Electric Youth Extreme Dance Company (E.Y.E.) Competition Team, I/we understand and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Commitment to the Team: Joining the E.Y.E. Competition Team requires a high level of commitment and dedication from both the student and their family. This commitment is essential for the team’s success and for the development of each dancer’s skills and teamwork.
Withdrawal Policy: If a student withdraws from the E.Y.E. Competition Team at any point after accepting their position, a withdrawal fee of $200 will be assessed. This fee is non-negotiable and must be paid within 30 days of the withdrawal notice.
Reason for the Withdrawal Fee:
Team Disruption: Withdrawing from the team can cause significant disruptions to the group's dynamic, choreography, and overall performance. It affects not only the individual dancer's progress but also the team's cohesion and morale.
Financial Commitments: The E.Y.E. Dance Company makes various financial commitments based on the number of students on the team. This includes, but is not limited to, costumes, competition fees, and instructor time. A withdrawal impacts the budgeting and financial planning for the entire team.
Resource Allocation: Significant resources, including time and effort from instructors and staff, are dedicated to each student. Withdrawing after these resources have been allocated means these efforts are not fully utilized.
By signing this agreement, I/we acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined above. I/we understand that the $200 withdrawal fee is in place to maintain the integrity and success of the E.Y.E. Competition Team and to ensure fairness to all team members.
