Casting Requirements

To participate in The Nutcracker, students must be 7 years old (by August 31, 2026) have taken a year of ballet 1 or higher and be registered in Ballet Level I or higher for fall 2026. You must be available for ALL tech/dress rehearsal and performance dates the week of Dec. 8-13, 20 & 21,2026.

Schedule on Friday, Aug 21, 2026

Ballet 1 9:00-10:00am
Ballet 2 10:00-11:00am
Ballet 3 & 4 11:00-12:30pm
Ballet 5 & 6/7 1:00-2:30pm

All students need to wear: She/Her: Black leotard (No skirts), pink/skin tone ballet tights, pink/skin tone ballet shoes. Ballet bun. No jewelry. He/Him: White shirt, black legging, white socks, black ballet shoes. For Ballet 1 & 2, arrive 15 minutes prior to register. Please come with enough time to sign in & pin on your audition number. Ballet 3+ should come 30 minutes prior to call time to warm themselves up and be prepared to dance at scheduled time.
