This 8 week mini session is a Whoville themed introduction to musical principles and music appreciation appropriate for your 3-5 year old. Students will have a chance to sing, learn about rhythm, instrument families, and try out different instruments. They will be encouraged to play to the beat and move their bodies to tell the story they are singing. The session ends on the last week with an in-studio performance for families and friends to enjoy! Students should dress in comfortable clothes and tennis shoes to move around in. Sessions meet once a week on the day and time you sign up for. Sessions will not meet if the studio is closed for any holidays or other studio wide closures. (example: fall break and Thanksgiving break) Monday sessions start Sept.30 and end with a performance on Dec.2 Tuesday sessions start October 1 and end with a performance on Dec. 3 Wednesday sessions start October 2 and end with a performance on Dec. 4.

Liability and Media Release

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any activities, classes, events, or programs organized or hosted by ROOTS Academy, LLC, I, the undersigned participant or parent/legal guardian of the participant, agree to the following terms:
1) Release of Liability: I acknowledge and understand that participating in dance classes, rehearsals, performances, and related activities involves certain inherent risks. I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with my participation or the participation of the minor under my care. I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless ROOTS Academy, LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, demands, expenses, or damages arising out of or in connection with my participation or the participation of the minor in any ROOTS Academy activities.
2) Medical Treatment Authorization: In the event of an injury or illness during any ROOTS Academy activity, I authorize ROOTS Academy, LLC, its representatives, or assigned personnel to seek and administer necessary medical treatment, including emergency medical care, if deemed necessary. I understand that I will be responsible for any associated medical expenses.
3) Media Release: I grant ROOTS Academy, LLC, and its representatives the irrevocable right and permission to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display any photographs, videos, or other media taken during ROOTS Academy activities in which I or the minor participant may appear. This includes, but is not limited to, use in promotional materials, website content, social media, and other marketing communications. I waive any rights to inspect or approve the final product and acknowledge that I will not receive any compensation for the use of such media. If you do not want ROOTS Academy to use your child's picture, please email dance@rootsacademy.com.
4) Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless ROOTS Academy, LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any claims, actions, liabilities, or losses, including attorney's fees, arising out of or in connection with my participation or the participation of the minor in any ROOTS Academy activities.
I have carefully read and fully understand the contents of this Release of Liability and Media Release. I voluntarily agree to its terms and electronically sign it of my own free will.
