Sick Policy

* Fever
- Temp at or above 101 degrees (orally or axillary), Temp at or above 100 degrees with one other positive symptom, or if less than six months of age.
** Readmission
- ALL FEVERS REQUIRE A DOCTOR'S RELEASE TO RETURN TO CLASS. (This will be strictly enforced until further notice.

* Diarrhea and Vomiting
- 2 or more incidents within a 2 hour period
** Readmission
- 24 hours after last incident of diarrhea or vomiting

* Rash, Ringworm
- Rash of unknown origin, not believed to be from the medication. Ringworm flat, spreading ring-shaped lesion.
** Readmission
Rash has been identified by a physician as not a contagious rash, or is under treatment and no longer contagious. (NEED A NOTE FROM DR. TO RETURN.)

* Strep Throat
- Sore or reddened throat with fever; complaint of headache, loss of appetite, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, nausea
** Readmission
- 48 hours after Dr. visit and treatment begins. (NEED DR. NOTE TO RETURN)

* Inability to participate
Child complains of not feeling well or is unable to participate in daily activities.
** Readmission
- Child is able to participate in center activities and free of other symptoms.

* Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease
** Readmission
- Child has completed the contagious stage of the illness. (NEED NOTE FROM DR TO RETURN)

If any of the above symptoms are noted at drop off, parent/guardian will be instructed to take
their child home. Some symptoms will require the child to see a health provider to gain clearance for return.
These symptoms which require clearance are noted above. If a child becomes ill while at daycare, he/she will be
isolated from the group and closely monitored until a parent or a person authorized for pick-up arrives (within
an hour of being called).

Students or staff who have a fever of 100.40 (38.00C) or above or other signs of illness WILL NOT be admitted to the facility.
Check-In is processed through Kidcheck mobile on celluar device.
Parent Drop-Off and Pick-Up - DO NOT enter the facility. Ring doorbell for drop-off and pick-up. Stand at least 6 feet from the door during the transition.

Arrival Departure Policy

Challenger Christian Academy begins its operation at 6:45 AM. Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 -8:30 AM, lunch is served from 11:00-1145 AM. If your child's arrival time is outside of mealtimes please feed your child before entering the center. Only foods prepared for your child in lunch containers or pre-arranged party foods will be allowed from the outside. We will have your child dressed, dry and at pickup time, we ask that you do the same for us at morning drop-off.

Tuition is due each Monday by 6:00 pm. Tuition paid after Monday will incur a $10 per day late fee. Tuition and late fees not paid in full within four days will result in termination of care for your child.

You will be required to sign a medical release form for emergency medical treatment and transport of your child.
