Basic introduction to cheerleading – no experience necessary! We teach motion basics, how to jump, tumbling basics, dance routine, and introduce stunting techniques from the ground up! If your child is interested in Cheer, but unsure if they are ready to join a team, this is a great class for them to get a taste of all things Cheer. We do have 2 showcases, 1 in November and 1 in the Spring.

The SORI Cheetahs are not considered a travel team. This team will attend 3 or more competitions throughout the season held on the weekends, all within an approximate 3-hour driving radius.
Practices are mandatory, as frequent or repeated unexcused absences can interfere with skill development, routine placement, and overall team progress. Cheerleading is one of the most team-oriented sports, and every athlete plays an important role in the success of the routine. In order for routines to be properly developed, practiced, and performed safely, all team members are expected to attend practices consistently.
