Using the familiarity of nursery rhymes, dancers will sing, dance, and use pantomime to act out stories. This week will be a beautiful introduction to dance and the CD&FS community while holding value for our returning students.

Dancers will begin daily with technique classes focusing on strength, fluidity, and control, alongside sessions in improvisation and choreography to cultivate personal expression and artistry. Dancers will explore different elements of contemporary dance, from floor work and dynamic transitions to musicality and storytelling through movement. This camp is best for intermediate dancers who have a foundational understanding of ballet-based technique.
