This audition prep class is designed for dancers interested in joining Jr Company. Dancers will learn what to expect at the audition by working through audition-style combinations and focusing on performance quality, technique, and audition etiquette. The class will help dancers build confidence and feel prepared for the audition process. Immediately following the class, there will be an informational meeting for dancers and families. This meeting will cover the Jr Company’s yearly schedule, performance opportunities, rehearsal expectations, commitment level, and more. It’s a great opportunity for both new and returning dancers to ask questions and get excited about the upcoming season.

Part 1 of the Teen Jazz audition for the 2025-2026 Company. In Part 1 of the audition, dancers will be led through a full warm-up to prepare their bodies and focus their minds. After the warm-up, dancers will learn a choreographed combination that highlights technique, style, and performance quality. This combination will be practiced in groups and performed for the adjudicators during Part 2 of the audition.
