Class Description / Dress Code:
An introduction to dance. This beginner dance class provides training in rhythm, creative dance, disciplined group activity, and basic elementary ballet and tap movement. In this fun atmosphere, coordination, balance, and self-esteem are developed.
45 minutes weekly
Dress Code: Leotard of your choice, ballet skirt (optional) tights, Hair up out of face
Boys: black/white t-shirt (fitted), Black joggers, leggings or shorts or jazz pants
Shoes: Pink Leather Ballet & Black Tap Shoes

A high-energy class introducing young dancers to hip-hop through rhythm, movement, musicality, and confidence-building in an age-appropriate environment.
Enrollment Requirement:
Hip-Hop is an add-on class. Dancers must be enrolled in a Tap/Ballet combo class to participate.
Hip-Hop Attire Policy
Dancers enrolled in Hip-Hop classes are required to wear clean, studio-only sneakers and comfortable athletic clothing that allows for full range of motion. Hair must be pulled up , secured off the face at all times. Jeans, crocs, boots, sandals, slip-on shoes, and street shoes are not permitted. Dancers who arrive out of dress code may be asked to sit out for safety reasons.

Time is divided between warm-up, exercise, perfection of tumbling skills, flexibility, and strength building. Also known as power tumbling this acrobatic sporting discipline combines some of the skills of artistic gymnastics on the floor which are integrated with basic dance movement.
