Tap Juniors: ages 5 to 7 This class introduces tap terminology and follows a traditional beginning tap class format, but in a simpler, more nurturing format. It includes warm-up, basic tap steps, center movement, simple choreography, and free dance time. Class runs 45 minutes. Dress Code: Solid black leotard or skirted leotard, pink ballet tights, black mary-jane or oxford tap shoes. Optional: black dance shorts, black leggings.

This class is for introducing the exercises and etiquette of a traditional beginning tap class combined with basic musicality/rhythm patterns. Dancers will learn how to combine tap technique, rhythms, and patterns with choreography to demonstrate skills. This class will prepare dancers for Tap 1. Dress Code: Solid black leotard, black dance shorts or black leggings. Black jazz shoes. Optional: Black t-shirt

Tap 1: ages 11 through Adult - For students who have completed Tap Basics or comparable and are ready to commit to more formal training focusing on a strong technical foundation. A complete tap class with warmups, across the floor movement, choreography, etc. Dancers must fully demonstrate all beginning level terminology and technique as well as properly execute required steps and rhythms prior to promotion to the next level. Enrollment by instructor permission or class placement assessment. Dress Code: Solid black leotard, black dance shorts or black leggings. Black jazz shoes. Optional: Black t-shirt
