Teeny Tap/Jazz: ages 3 to 4 - Dancers will discover new ways to move their bodies by combining tap and jazz-based exercises with musical rhythms and patterns. Along with tap, jazz, and creative movement, this class introduces them to dance class etiquette, following instructions, and waiting patiently for their turn. This class will assist these young dancers in building essential fine motor skills and muscle coordination to enable them to be successful outside of the dance studio. Class runs 45 minutes.
Not recommended for children with noise sensitivity or sensory challenges.
Dress Code: Solid black leotard or skirted leotard, pink ballet tights, black mary-jane or oxford tap shoes. Optional: black dance shorts, black leggings.

This class is for reviewing the exercises and etiquette of a traditional beginning tap class combined with basic musicality/rhythm patterns. Dancers will learn how to combine tap technique, rhythms, and patterns with choreography to demonstrate skills. This class will prepare dancers for Tap 1.
Please see Tap Basics B for a slower class good for beginners or those who wish to learn at a slightly slower pace.

A complete tap class with warmups, across the floor movement, choreography, etc. Dancers must fully demonstrate all beginning level terminology and technique as well as properly execute required steps and rhythms prior to promotion to the next level.
