Jazz Juniors: ages 5 to 7 This class introduces jazz dance terminology and follows a traditional beginning jazz class format, but in a simpler, more nurturing format. It includes warm-up, basic jazz steps and stretches, center movement, simple choreography, and free dance time. Class runs 45 minutes. Dress Code: Solid black leotard, black dance shorts or black leggings. Black jazz shoes.

Dancers will learn how to combine beginning jazz dance technique, rhythms, and patterns with choreography to demonstrate skills. This class will prepare dancers for Jazz 1. Dress Code: Solid black leotard, black dance shorts or black leggings. Black jazz shoes.

A complete advanced-beginner to beginning-intermediate level jazz dance class with warmups, across the floor movement, jumps/turns, and choreography. Dancers must fully demonstrate all beginning level terminology and technique as well as properly execute required steps, jumps, turns, and rhythms prior to promotion to next level. Enrollment by instructor permission or class placement assessment. Dress Code: Solid black leotard, black dance shorts or black leggings. Black jazz shoes.
Highly recommend taking ballet concurrently with this class.

Highly recommend dancers be concurrently enrolled in ballet to see the most progress from this class.
