The parent usually acts as a guide to learning creative movement, rhythmic basics, music appreciation, and age appropriate technique. Mommy/Daddy and Me is great way to spend quality time with your little one. (Both parents are not required for this class).

The team will continue learning how to work together as a team and complementing one another on stage. If any Royal team member misses this class the week prior to a performance, they will not be able to perform in the upcoming performance.

Dances will begin class with floor stretches and ballet barre stretches. Dancers will learn how to maintain correct posture from head to feet. Dancers will learn the names of steps and what they mean in the French language. Dancers will learn new jumps and turns and execute them with more repetition. By the end of this class, dancers will know all dance terminology taught and the meaning, correct posture to execute different steps and flexibility.

Dancers will begin class with stretches in the center floor specific to improving flexibility and strengthening the legs and feet. Dancers will work on basic technique at the barre and learn more detailed combinations, involving port de bras (carriage of the arms). Dancers will also expand on developing their turnout and correct body placement. Corner work will require 3 or more steps which travel across there floor. Dancers will learn specific muscles that are used in ballet.
