Our INFANT PICCOLO program is the first step in our early childhood curriculum and provides the basis of creative exploration for the youngest members of our families. This class is specifically tailored to students under two years old, with active family member participation! The Piccolo class promotes family bonding, encourages exploration of movement, and develops community building. Each week you’ll sing, rhyme, and dance along with other little ones just starting to explore the world!

Each week of the Piccolo class includes age-appropriate learning experiences to encourage an early love of the arts. This class also promotes bonding and community building through classroom activities that encourage participation and peer interaction. Monthly themes and weekly read-aloud are designed to develop primary literacy skills and an early love of reading. Students will be introduced to the basics of rhythm and note identification, keeping a beat, and singing as part of a group. Weekly fine-motor activities help students prepare for playing instruments.

Calling all Soprano and Alto Students! Our NEW group piano lessons allow students to explore the piano in a less intimidating setting than a traditional one-on-one experience. Students will learn the basics of piano and rhythm through games, songs, and individual instruction. Each 30-minute class includes an opportunity for students to perform for each other, building confidence in playing for an audience. This class uses the Faber Piano Adventures series as a supplement to our Early Childhood piano curriculum.

The SOPRANO class exposes young students to many types of performance study, with time devoted to pantomime, improv games, emotional expression, and movement. Specifically, this class includes instruction in the following musicianship skills: Solfege training, note and rhythm identification, musical terminology, singing, and group performing. Students will learn how to express themselves, and interact with their peers through theater games and songs! This program explores both sides of the arts while guiding kids to be better versions of themselves. This class also includes an end-of-semester performance for families.
*Optional Group Piano – lessons in person once a week for 30 minutes in a small group.

Each academic session of the curriculum will include age-appropriate learning experiences in Solfege ear training, note and rhythm identification, musical terminology, aural recall, music composition, and singing. They will also be introduced to different types of theater, refine their pantomime skills, and learn to create stories for the stage. Students also practice listening and responding to classical music, with an emphasis on personal expression and peer-to-peer interaction. This class includes an end-of-semester performance for families.
*Optional Private Lessons – lessons in person once a week for 30 minutes.
