| Register | 008A: Level 4/5 - BALLET/POINTE - Mon - 5:30pm (120 min) - Julie Ratz | 008A: Level 4/5 - BALLET/POINTE - Mon - 5:30pm (120 min) - Julie Ratz **Dance Arts Studio’s Level 4/5 ballet classes are taught by DAS Director Emeritas Grace Luttrell Nanavati and ABT® Certified Teachers Julie Ratz and Gina DeCroix Russell. In tandem with their training from Grace, Julie and Gina follow American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum. ABT’s NTC combines scientific principles with elements of classical French, Italian and Russian schools of ballet with a goal of training dancers to use their body correctly by educating them on anatomy, kinetics, coordination, and alignment. L4/5 dancers are encouraged to also take the Adv. Tech. level classes that immediately precede or follow their Level 4/5 Ballet class(es). Dancers placed in Level 4/5 are required to take a minimum of two ballet classes per week and are encouraged to add additional ballet classes at Level 3.
