005A: Level 1 - BALLET - Tue - 4:15pm (75 min) - Gina DeCroix Russell **Dance Arts Studio’s Level 1 ballet classes are taught by ABT® Certified Teacher Gina DeCroix Russell and follow ABT's NTC, which consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels; and is designed to strengthen technique, stamina and discipline through practical trainings and lessons in theory. ABT’s NTC combines scientific principles with elements of classical French, Italian and Russian schools of ballet with a goal of training dancers to use their body correctly by educating them on anatomy, kinetics, coordination, and alignment. Dancers must be at least turning eight years old prior to 12/31/23. Students in Level 1 are encouraged to also take Beg. Tech. level classes in jazz, modern, hip hop, and theatre/tap to round out their dance training. DAS-BRANDED UNIFORM REQUIRED IN LILAC.
