In her 6th year of teaching voice, she has a unique ability to healthily grow young voices, while students improve leaps and bounds!
Remote voice lessons are a wonderful and convenient option for any level of singer. Whether you are looking to improve your already established instrument, or you want to try singing for the very first time, this is the place to grow!

This workshop is not required to be able to audition for CAPA companies. Shakespeare’s plays stand the test of time for a reason—the characters are bold, the language is rich, and the stories are full of drama, comedy, and heart.
Because the language can feel unfamiliar at first, it helps to have a guide who can make it accessible and exciting. Your instructor, Tanya Quinn, has a deep connection with the Bard’s work. She has performed as Titania, Puck, and Quince in three separate productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as Rosalind in As You Like It. Tanya has also directed young actors in Hamlet, Macbeth, The Tempest, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
For students planning to apply to musical theater or theater arts programs in college, Shakespeare is essential. Most auditions require both a classical dramatic and comedic monologue—and by the end of this course, students will leave with both, ready to impress in any audition room.

On-Camera Technique & Audition Prep
Step in front of the camera and discover the unique techniques of acting for film. In this class, students will learn how to adapt their performance for the screen, focusing on subtlety, truthfulness, and connection. Through hands-on work with the camera, students will develop on-screen presence, learn the technical aspects of hitting marks, framing, and continuity, and build confidence in both rehearsed and improvised scenes.
Students will also explore the full audition process—creating professional-quality self-tapes, preparing for in-person auditions, and understanding what to expect during callbacks. With practical exercises, mock auditions, and real-time feedback, this class equips actors with the tools they need to navigate the film and television industry with confidence and authenticity.

In this high-energy class, you’ll learn how to create improvised solos and ensemble pieces, explore rhyme structures, and build unforgettable musical moments—all on the spot.
No singing experience required—just a love for performing and a willingness to jump in! Highly recommended for students currently enrolled in Advanced Improv. Prerequisite: Must have taken at least one improv class

n this Intro to Musical Theatre class, performers build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment, using music, movement, and drama. As an ensemble, they create a meaningful performance and dreams continue to form as students work with peers, find their own stage voice, develop skills in performance, storytelling, improvisation, and character development. All this while collaborating with fellow artists to create and perform in a showcase on the final class day.

Step behind the curtain and explore the magic that brings a stage production to life! In this hands-on course, students will dive into the world of technical theatre, learning the essential skills that support every great performance. From set design and construction to lighting, sound, props, costumes, and stage management, students will collaborate to create the behind-the-scenes magic that makes theatre happen.
Students will have the opportunity to work on real CAPA productions during required Technical Theatre Practicum, practice teamwork, and develop creative problem-solving skills in a fun and supportive environment. No previous theatre experience is needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty!
