Register Ballet and Pointe/Pre-Pointe at FWAFA (grades 7+) Continuing the focus on classical and contemporary ballet techniques, students develop skills working in or toward pointe shoes. Class will begin with barre and approved students will work at barre en pointe. Pre-pointe students will participate in the same exercises in ballet flats, with a focus toward strengthening ankles and feet in preparation for pointe. Class will continue to center and across the floor exercise. Pointe students will be given the opportunity to continue their class en pointe. Students taking this class are strongly encouraged to also enroll in the Monday Ballet class at FWAFA. *Students that are not already en pointe will be approved by instructor and set up a time for a pointe shoe fitting with the instructor.
