Register Tuesday Beginner Tumbling Class NO TUMBLING the week of 7/1/2019. New to the WIDC program, new to tumbling. This class will provide an introduction to tumbling focusing on the essential skills needed for the progression to more advanced tumbling. Tumblers will work on motor skills, flexibility, strength, and balance. Register Tuesday LEVEL 1 Tumble Class NO CLASS the week of 7/1/2019. In this class the athlete will learn strengthening and conditioning skills that will aid in progression of tumbling skills in Level 1. The athlete will perfect skills such as forward and backward roll, cartwheel, round off, front and back kick-overs as well as walk overs. Once these skills are mastered the athlete will starts drills for level 2 tumbling. This class is a intermediate level class. This class is for athletes who have a handstand, solid cartwheel and round off and working back kick-overs.. Round off back handspring, BWO BHS, Standing & running BHS, dive roll, BHS step out, FHS. Flexibility and strength will also be worked as these fundamentals are needed for continued progression. . Level 3 tumbling focuses on standing BHS series, toe-touch BHS, RO BHS back tuck, R-O tuck, front tuck (punch front), and aerial. Register Thursday Semi-Private (LEVEL 2-5) NO CLASS the week of 7/1/2019 Maximum of 3 athletes per 30 minute session. Please do not sign up for back to back semi-privates. WIDC will drop the second slot. 1 athlete $20, 2 athletes $12.50 each, 3 athletes $10 each Multi-level tumbling semi-private lessons. Athletes in this class will work closely with the instructor on level appropriate skills and drills. Athletes will also condition to build strength needed for mastering tumbling skills of all levels.
